Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Seems if that happens, more likely either DFA or SSPReally hoping something is happening in the background because if we only get Buller then I’m real nervous. We need tall defender depth
We had more to trade with then than we do now.As a reminder there's still basically a full week of trade period left (I know it's a stupidly drawn out charade)
From memory, 12 months ago we hadn't even heard any rumblings about Houston coming to us a week out from the deadline - still plenty of time for a few surprise domino's to fall, or a rabbit out of the hat (in true trade radio fashion I'm trying to use as many lame metaphors as possible)

That time of year DaveWhy so many Trolls coming on here last few days?
Thats probably a sensible perspective. The worry was always going to be the potential distraction from Clarry. The media noise surrounding his extra curriculars would have increased even further playing at Collingwood. It's a shame we don't get to see what he could bring to our team but I think his decision to go to GWS will be beneficial for all parties.
The usual type who thrive on negativity. Why so many Trolls coming on here last few days?
Trade trolling is reserved for a very special kind of nuffie. Why so many Trolls coming on here last few days?
Kath Deves has taken him(Clayton not Walt) and he is now in the keg room at the Buena VistaMaybe Clayton got bamboozled by Sydney and it’s baffling non-grid system streets which is why he & Leppa can’t find each other.
That, or he found @WalterBlaknWhte’s small Bolivian mountain and will resurface at a pokies in 2 weeks.
I never wanted him anyway!
Edit: stupid BigFooty tagging code not letting me alert WalterBlaknWhte that this is all his fault
If he can't make himself available/contactable for a meeting which must have been agreed to, it really says everything about his lack of professionalism.Based on McRae's comments I think any interest was contingent on a meeting with Oliver and we're unlikely to move forward based on his behaviour. Assume he's already made a decision, but even if not I doubt we take it further.
Sounds likely. Can’t say I’m disappointed!Based on McRae's comments I think any interest was contingent on a meeting with Oliver and we're unlikely to move forward based on his behaviour. Assume he's already made a decision, but even if not I doubt we take it further.
Might be easier to find that Wes Walley guyCan the club actually find Oliver in Sydney?
I’m disappointed. A no go from club decisions is fine. A no go from a manager/player choosing to not respect the club is disappointing. I will hold there because the sequence is not confirmed.Sounds likely. Can’t say I’m disappointed!
If we were going to sign him everything from his side had to be perfect to allay concerns over character and professionalism. Any hiccups along the way would close the door.If he can't make himself available/contactable for a meeting which must have been agreed to, it really says everything about his lack of professionalism.
Looking like we dodged a bullet.
Maybe he spent time in the Collingwood forum at BF.if Oliver did that to us not worth picking shows the type of person he is

What's that mean Dave?He is be a De-Listed Free Agent Signing
That you can sign delisted players for free after the trade period by giving up nothingWhat's that mean Dave?
We don’t need to ever miss finals if we adopt the Geelong model of salary cap cheating.I'd still like to get Oliver, but looks impossible now.
My disappointment wanes, however, when I think about the possible improvement of the likes of Ben Allen, Jiath, Reef, West and others.
I think we will be OK.
A couple of nice pick-ups would be nice of course. And it wouldn't do us any harm if we miss finals for one year and get a nice draft hand. I hope we can contend forever, but as we see year in, year out, draft hands play a major role.
Very interesting times for the pies
