I'm certainly not expecting another Houston type surprise - but throughout the next week I am sure other doors and options will open that we hadn't heard about up to this point

He's been mentioned before but is Tsatas someone we take a hail mary on?

Doesn't seem to be in big favour down at Essendon so might be willing to move and be attainable.

I know his kicking is seen as an issue but his production levels at VFL level look decent, by all accounts has speed which is a plus for us in terms of our mix and I see he racked up 11 clearances (average of 5) against Adelaide this season from only 63% TOG.

The funny thing about Oliver and GWS is that they have a player who does the exact same thing but better in Tom Greene. Feels similar to when Melbourne got Grundy, I don't see how you play those two together. Still, onto the next, I was never as keen on Jack Steele

Silvagni, I didn't rate and wasn't at all disappointed in not getting him. I can't say I share the same sentiment with Oliver. His reward would have outweighed his risk IMO and would have come super cheap. Given our trading position, these are opportunities we need to be taking to remain competitive. Only time will tell I guess. But that is two out of two who have decided against us.
