What else do you expect from the nuff nuff gallery.

Our supporters are putrid at times. (More often than not)

Want us to be perenially unsuccessful because the 'bag the sh*t card' is the only one they can play.
I think the supporters are entitled to be a bit disillusioned with all aspects of the club at this point Jy included.

Not to say Jy has been completely useless of course he hasn’t but similarly he hasn’t been unimpeachable and certainly not entitled to kick up a fuss when he’s asked to play a certain role.

We’ve been turgid for a long time now, coming up as the worst spell for a club in this modern era but yeah any one with a dissenting opinion is a nuff nuff

Bonars is back to extinguish the nuff nuffs

Clearly supporters have vastly different views of Jy's worth. But the main thing determining whether he gets to another club or not is obviously what the other 17 clubs think of him.

If any of the other 17 clubs rated him as a midfielder (or as a player in any position) they'd surely at least inquire, especially if his contact was front loaded. Even if they thought his final years' $ were still too high, they'd at least see how a deal could get done, what % of his contract we might pay etc in return for pick xx.

At this stage though, it sounds like there's been zero interest. If it stays that way, then you've got 17 pro-scout groups from other clubs saying no thanks. It's not great market feedback.

I'm not buying that. Jy would've been a fringe player at most Top 4 teams over the last 8 years.
Fringe you reckon. He started in the midfield of the Indigenous All Stars. There's no way he is a fringe player anywhere in this competition.

Mate not everything is played out in the pages of the Herald Sun or within the moles Cal Twomey has planted at Clubland.

If indeed Jy is shopping himself, the market appears quite cool on him. Clarry barely took the Pies call & he’s a basket case with the Dees offering to pay part of his salary.

As mentioned, it doesn't really matter what supporters, the media or anyone else thinks, it comes down to how the other 17 clubs rate him and what they actually do about it. He's exploring his options and we'll know in a week if anyone was interested. Proof will be in the pudding.

If his contract was front loaded, which it probably is, we’d be asking for a high pick for already having partially paid his next few years.
From memory this was a sticking point with Ablett going back to Geelong.
I’m not saying Jy is doing this, but players front loading contracts and then trying to move for the last few years to get more cash is a bit rich.

Come and see how good I look.

No one came.
There were 3 groups id suspect...

Group 1 - top 6 teams flat out said "Ewww"

Group 2 - middle 6 teams looked at contract "Ewww"

Group 3 - bottom 6 teams looked at draft pick required to move him "Ewww"
