Concern about ratings won’t be fixed by giving the eagles a handout. It will be solved by the afl ensuring the game is a a better product… less over officiating, more consistency in everything from umpiring to tribunal, and actually investing in skills of umpires so people don’t feel the game is a rort week in week out. Improve the product and supporters will stick around. A Perth nrl team is not going to make a dent in afl support

Eagles getting 35,000 to their games. rubbish for 5 years and membership is 107,000
plus Dockers in Perth. 38,000 attending home games.

the "product" is strong enough.
I watch FTA C7 who really upped their game this year. Views per game slightly up on 2024.
