Re: 'Alleged' rumours resurfacing ...

Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Simply put, don't be a dick.

Thanks all!

sorry mate - how can my likes be a myth

i like ainsworth - that is a fact
he's be many of my fantasy draft team - yup another fact
can be deeply silky - CAN - didnt say he had 100% DE - did say that he can be
I'm the same mate, have had him for years in one on my keeper leagues, does a solid job and I think is a great addition for us, will be a good link up player and help tidy up delivery into our F50

No one would have thought about offering a 1st for Hayward last year, so in trade negotiations, pretending he’s some fringe player addition, is way off.

Not interested in Rowbum but 2 firsts and Hayward is equivalent to 3 first.

How d

Will it be Ainsworth vs Kemp for that role?
He plays high half forward. Will upgrade the fogarty role

68% disposal efficiency across his career. Kicking efficiency 62%. Fantasy points are also average.

It is not often that a team is on the wrong side of a deal with GCS, but here we are. Pick 29 for a soon to be 28 yr old, goal a game player that struggles to finish well.

Not sure how trading away a F2 helps with securing CW. Next year seems a strong draft so would have been handy regardless. Effectively got rid of Durdin for nothing. Hopefully he at least gets an extra year out of it. Mots is going to be lonely.

Might be tough to get Buku.
Goldcoast have been virtually a charity the past 10 years except when it comes to us 😂

I think between Pick 10 and Pick 21, we can cover points for Dean, Ison, plus Buku.

We probably then need to trade a good player this year or next year if we want Cody. Likely Curnow.

Ainsworth for Future 2nd. Durdin for pick 67.

Yeah, that makes sense.
Importantly, it shows that we're prepared not to mess around and will pay for contracted players (BA). F2 is overs but as a contracted best 22 player, it's fair business.

Now... for a dual-Coleman medalist in contract? What's the Charlie equivalent of an F2 for Ainsworth?

Not 3 picks in the 20s, that's for damn sure.
