Either of Stengle or Mannagh would be your best small forward by a mile.

J Henry would be your second best defender.

Dempsey would be in your top 3-5 players.

Holmes one of the best mids in the league at age 23. He has far more left in the tank than Cripps and is in much better health than Walsh.

Neale kicked 44 goals this year. It took McKay until his 5th season and Curnow until his 6th season to kick 40+.

None of this matters though because none of these players want to go to Carlton.

McKay won a Coleman and All Australian in his sixth year - Neale is entering his sixth season now. Good luck to him - tough ask to match it with Harry and win All Australian and Coleman next season when Charlie is going to kick 70 goals in Navy Blue

I'm not so sure. They wouldn't really need Neale with Curnow coming in.
Sticking point would be O'Sullivan who is a very good prospect, but would be what they'd have to give up to make this happen.

So yeh, doubt it happens.
You'd need to give those two pay rises to make them interested too.

If Curnow came in we'd miss out on Marshall and of so we'd need at least a solid rotation from Neale so we actually couldn't do that if we wanted to.

I wouldn't give up cos for Curnow either. Future captain
