Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

I really like Haywood. Realistically the trade for Curnow is Hayward and two firsts.

We take Florant who sounds like he is on a bad contract considering his form in 25.

I am happy to trade Curnow for the two with two firsts.

A forward line including McKay, Moir, Hayward, Ainsworth and a young O'Keeffe. Excites me.

I am so over watching Curnow he is a conditional footballer and has really embarrassed himself in this process.

Morris and Gallop aren’t super tall but they’re very solid and hold their own in packs.

Totally get that the game is now a business and it certainly hurts a lot less as you get older (I am still not over Sammy Hamill leaving to the ‘Aints when I was a kid though) but still hurts the heart a bit that he is bailing.

From this point on it seems like a formality so hopefully we sign the paperwork in the morning and we can move on.

I look at it like this

Charlie crap has been bubbling along for 6 months or more
We are desperately trying to change culture

Our focus coming in was depth and a range of players. No need to go to draft with Jagga, Dean, Ison, Walker all coming in

If we walk away with Florent, Hayward, Pick 11 and F1 then that’s solid. Virtually secures Walker next year and we could easily trade up for a Top 4-5 pick. We now have solid mature depth to help our development and competition for spots

With much more SC room we have set ourselves up for next decade and got kids in before Tasmania stuff the draft

I am very happy if this is what happens

Apparently Swannies need to open up spots. Seems most likely that Hayward is involved and Florent has been mentioned a lot.

Not expecting it, but it would be a dream deal if we ended up with Hayward and McInerney.

i just don't see it with either of them frankly.

Right? Giving a second back would be a nasty sting in the tail. A first rounder free and clear is great. A ~10 pick upgrade of our second is worth vastly less than that.
