Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Not sure Carroll and Florent would play the same roles. Carroll more half back for us, Florent more wing. Also Carroll will be competing with Newman back in the side next year, it won't hurt him having to fight for his spot. He will earn a best 23 spot regularly if he is good enough.

Im seeing alot of carlton supporters here that dont understand florent is a salary dump for Sydney and that if we are really interested in him which I'm hoping graham Wright and austin are smarter then that he should not be included in any curnow deal.
Their 2 firsts arnt the best but if that's all they have it would have to be those 2 firsts Hayward and either campbell/datolli
We r doing them a favour if we are stupid enough to have florent a part of the trade

I read earlier that Hayward and Florent are business partners, so it makes sense from Sydney’s side to package them up.
