Yeah I agree about the wing

Even if he doesn’t make it as a ruckman he would we an awesome wingman

Transitioning from defence into attack is becoming increasingly important. A tall not one of our key forwards would be very good allowing our talls to maintain a very threatening position instead of going out to the wing....

Anyone else heard why Robey increased so rapidly?
He had a really quick growth spurt shooting up to 192cm and he reckons he will get a bit taller yet.

Once the growth spurt happened it was just him adjusting to his size and growing in confidence.

No disrespect to you, just a general thing:

How can anyone reckon they're gonna get taller? Is there any way to measure remaining growth?

In an interview Robey did he said his growth plates were still open which indicates his bones are still increasing in length.

Yes there is .... when you are growing your bones have a different composition at the site of growth (called growth plates).

An X-ray shows growth plates as dark lines or "gaps" between the ends and the shaft, because they are made of less-mineralized cartilage that appears darker than bone. These plates are the areas of active bone growth near the ends of bones and are only visible on X-rays in children and adolescents. When growth is complete, the growth plate hardens into solid bone and the dark line disappears. .

The West saying Richmond may pinch this guy due to Freo not having the list spots to match a bid.

Ran a 2.85sec but ran well over 7mins in 2km lmao

I was there, he’s a power athlete looked sublime in the sprint. Blew up about half way through the first lap in the 2km and ran 7:30. Don’t know how you fix that…

There are metrics / scans they can use across Coates level / combine that can give an indication I believe.

Robey himself was the one who said he believes he will get to 194cm approx

I guess all that stuff is still always a guesstimate but I assume a lot of the equation will be based on him being on the younger side of the draft too.

Even if he stayed at 192cm that’s still very nice!

Do you know why we were linked? Cause he’s not in our draft range maybe a rookie but he’s nga so 🤷‍♂️

Not aware of any link to the Tigers (or any club other than Freo for that matter). Small forward with top 1% speed would appeal broadly to a number of clubs I’d imagine.

And the Grill at 4 😳

It’s bias from all the pundits linking Grjl to our picks because of our messaging about speed. I think it’s more a ranking based on ceiling imo
