Doesnt sound like he put in any type of preperation work to what Essendon actually want, but rather just played the media game to try and get ZM out.

The fact his client's goals align with hawthorn's goals doesn't mean he's a hawhtorn mouthpiece, it means he's a Merrett mouthpiece as he's employed to be.

It's an end of first round compensation pick, so it's not really a first but it's not a second either. I have the same thing to say about our current draft hand, because Draper's compo is also an end of first round pick.
