It's not and of all people Twomey will know. I suggest you go and read his article which was why he was shock Brisbane didn't take our fair trade.
I’d rather be in the Hawthorn/Geelong/Brisbane category of big clubs personally. How much money are you getting from the AFL compared to the big clubs in Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, West Coast and us????
Because that player is consider a draftee. Ah Chee isn't in this instance despite nominating for the PSD, he is considered a new recruit with a contract he has set so clubs will speak to him. Clubs aren't going to offer the money he want without talking to him.Didn’t stop Gold Coast from picking a Fremantle player in last year’s rookie draft.

AFL club stunned as ruckman poached by rivals
The 20-year-old was at training on Friday morning but must now pack his bags and head across the country.7news.com.au
Doesn’t matter how many times you said it a pick in the mid to late 30’s isn’t a fair tradeIt's not and of all people Twomey will know. I suggest you go and read his article which was why he was shock Brisbane didn't take our fair trade.

Well, I said 30-35 and not 35-40.Doesn’t matter how many times you said it a pick in the mid to late 30’s isn’t a fair trade

"Growth" market lol.We are more important to the AFL than clubs like the Crom. Growth market.
The AFL knows they’ve already captured the Crom market and so it doesn’t matter if the Crom don’t win a flag for 30 years or ever again. Their fans will continue to make sack Nicksy threads and life will go on.
"Growth" market lol.
You guys offered Ah Chee a contract reportedly worth $800k by 5 years, but only wanted to trade junk picks.Lol..you guys just lost a whole bunch of future points because you missed out on a small handful of future points with our offer that was slightly less good than what you wanted...make that make sense
Still don’t think that’s a fair tradeWell, I said 30-35 and not 35-40.
Putting yourself with Hawthorn/Geelong is an embarrassment to them. Go to their forum and ask their supporter if they consider Brisbane as a big club as them.I’d rather be in the Hawthorn/Geelong/Brisbane category of big clubs personally.
To each their own.
His family with 2 young kids want to be in Adelaide.I don't understand why a club with cap space won't take him and just trust Adelaide's medical team has done the work. Seems a pretty low risk given he is a consistent player.
Outright lie. You just said in your previous post your side wanted our f2 and 2027 F2. we ended up offering our F2 and 2026 F3 which will end up in real terms a half dozen or so spots worse AND IN A BETTER DRAFT than the 2027 2nd due to tassie coming in.. so again, make it make sense your club now get ZERO draft points instead of taking and F2 and f3 worth of them if points was the goal as per your previous post? You guys offered Ah Chee a contract reportedly worth $800k by 5 years, but only wanted to trade junk picks.
Make that make sense.
At times, clubs need to make a stand on principle. We wouldn’t be held over a barrel. We could afford to make a stand here.
Unfortunately, we were dealing with Adelaide, who have now repeatedly demonstrated that can’t be trusted to trade in good faith.
The onus is on the club trading in the player to get the deal done. Always has been.
I'm hearing it less than that from "ITK" posters on our thread. Anyway, we gave pick 14 (consider overs at that time) for Dawson, pick 5 for Rankine and pick 28 for contracted ANB in the last 3-4 years. You guys offered Ah Chee a contract reportedly worth $800k by 5 years, but only wanted to trade junk picks.

Lies. This is what you traded for Dawson:I'm hearing it less than that from "ITK" posters on our thread. Anyway, we gave pick 14 (consider overs at that time) for Dawson, pick 5 for Rankine and pick 28 for contracted ANB in the last 3-4 years.
The future first-round pick would land at Pick 17, with the Dees finishing second in 2022. Pushed back to Pick 20 due to club-tied bids, Sydney would end up selecting Jacob Konstanty, who would fail to make a senior appearance for the side before being packaged in a deal to North Melbourne in 2024.
Everyone knew he was a weapon after those three seasons. He was a genuinely good prospect and clearly had elite attributes. And the Swans were desperate to keep him. Enough parroting of this lie as I’ve seen you mention it many times already.Taken with Pick 56 in the 2015 National Draft, Dawson wouldn’t feature for the Swans until 2017, featuring just once in a one-point loss to Collingwood in Round 3, followed by just four games in 2018.
In 2019, Dawson broke into the senior side across the back flank, playing 20 games and averaging 18.8 disposals in a breakout season.
Holding his spot for the next two seasons, Dawson’s 2021 campaign elevated his reputation amongst the competition, averaging 22 touches and featuring higher up the ground for the sixth-placed Swans.
So if we accept trading a more valuable pick for picks apparently worthless than it would be fair value, if we offer those 'worthless picks' its unfair?A pick slide and a future second is hardly asking for the world, that is more than fair and reasonable.
Don't want to give it that is fine, I look forward to the next time round when the shoe is on the other foot
So if we accept trading a more valuable pick for picks apparently worthless than it would be fair value, if we offer those 'worthless picks' it’s unfair?
I had some growth when I realised we were getting Ah Chee for free.I know there’s no growth in anything in Adelaide so I forgive your ignorance.
So you are helped by the AFL and therefore receive unfair advantages and your success is invalid. Works for me.We are more important to the AFL than clubs like the Crom. Growth market.

Lies. This is what you traded for Dawson:
Pick 20 after bids. It wasn’t even your first pick it was Melbournes who were much higher on the ladder. Crows had pick 2 in the PSD and port were no chance of getting him so not surprisingly the crows used the PSD threat to good effect.
It was also was clearly not overs at the time:
Everyone knew he was a weapon after those three seasons. He was a genuinely good prospect and clearly had elite attributes. And the Swans were desperate to keep him. Enough parroting of this lie as I’ve seen you mention it many times already.
Have it on good authority that he is p*ssed with Brisbane over this and some of the other players are upset with the treatment of Ah Chee aswell.

You can't read???? We traded with Melbourne's F1 and gave the pick to Sydney which was pick 14 and yes it was consider overs at that time. Also, Dawson had no interest joining Port Power despite "meeting" with them, similar to Ah Chee.Lies. This is what you traded for Dawson:
