The whisper is that one of TDK’s concerns was that he’d have to carry the rucks, and the Aints assured him Marshall would be there as support. I don’t think they ever had any real interest in a trade.

I agree.

Being able to pluck a Tim Kelly type out of the state leagues this year would be a godsend. Are there any of note?

Imagine getting 1.7m per year to ruck and being worried about having to hold down that position.

Players got it good these days.

Any chance we live trade our first rounder on the night to get more collateral for 2026, especially if we are a chance for Butters?

Yes but the problem is finding a buyer most teams wont want to trade out of 2026.

I'm looking forward to us taking our picks to the draft. I think the draft is strong in the 20-40 range where our first two picks will fall. The talk of this being a week draft is driven by academy picks poking the eyes out of the top 10, which doesn't effect us. In a clean draft they weren't lasting to 20 anyway.

At this point get Goldy.. ask him for 14 games and he doesn’t play vfl but he’s on close to mimimim chips.

Stanley and Blitz can cover the rest of the rotations with Neale and SDK covering from and back Halves.

Not great but prob best option if we need to go with a ruck not on our list

Go Catters
I don't mind this at all of course assuming he is fit and relatively mobile. He is a big and experienced unit.

When in many opinions he is on the verge of breaking out as a forward. Great kick. mobile, good hands, a bit game-sense green at the moment,
Yes, at that exact moment. It has "break glass in case of emergency vibes", I admit.

I, on the other hand, have an instinct based on the years of watching that he'll never quite be that forward. Or, more importantly, he could be a serious weapon working as a 60/40 split duties.

But I'm also in the camp that is far more forgiving of OHenry and would like to see what can happen when they're not always in the same space.
