They did get bought out and are going to be going by general now and not Fujitsu. they are still listed at aflw major sponsor so might have renegotiated to just be aflw before moving on.

I agree with you 100%. I can’t think of too many examples of a professional sporting club not being more strategic with their placement or their usage.

Okay, kookaburra / burley don’t make football boots, but as you say, the exist in the same apparel space, yet I see both ASICS and Nike.

Either use generic footwear, photoshop out the label or better yet, change the shot and don’t feature it.

Really really weird stuff.

Yeah why give such a massive brand like Nike Free advertising. At the end of the kookaburra needs all the attention on that poster

Presumably the Bulldogs jumper gets changed to drop the 100 year logo and return the FFC acronym to under the sponsor logo. Under ASICS each kit design has run for 2 years before being changed so I think that'll be all given 2025 was the first with the new red collar.

The worst part about the brand is that because Superhero is so common in film and tv these days, what they actually do is pretty forgotten. I feel like they need tagline or anything to actually help people know what they do (not specifically about design on the kit, just in general).

This is probably just a me thing but who ever made that announcement pic should have photoshopped the nike swoosh out of Sheezels boots. For most sponsorship announcements it doesn’t matter but when it comes to an apparel sponsorship, I don’t think it’s quite on. Nike such a big brand and that big swoosh was one if the first things my eyes were drawn to.

Sheezel would have his own commercial brand arrangement with Nike.
