Not sure how you get that from this 8 minute clip. Keeler is now bigger in the upper body than Caminiti
Not only is it an 8 minute clip, its an 8 minute clip of the first training of the year in November. Might as well be using star signs to predict their performance in 2026 and itd be just as accurate.

I thought he looked bigger and stronger but, then again, I didn’t actually watch any footage. However, Venus is in retrograde and Jupiter has moved into Sagittarius so make of that what you will.

Just watching the training footage and Keeler doesn't seem much fitter or stronger. Probably reading way too much into it and hope I'm wrong but not expecting much next season. Caminiti looks ripped and Tauru will be a superstar. Flanders has the vibe of a local footy player but we already know he's a gun.
Keeler had put on noticeable weight between rd1 and rd24 so maybe he hasn't increased since that period?

Said is not a skinny kid.

Never was, us Sunbury people are hard people.

Also, as I've said previously, Calder interchanged him and Garcia, so if he couldn't take it then he wouldn't have swapped with the mid/forward role and instead would have gotten dragged.

I just don't think he looks that ripped or seem to be moving that well, but would love him to make it as he has amazing attributes. There was a game late this year where I thought it looked really good, might have actually been the GWS game last round? But he has had a few issues running out games. If he can improve his fitness he could be a weapon.

It was definitely the GWS game. Hopefully he is the type that looks better once the match sim starts because he could be a handy player for us if his talent clicks.

Keeler put most of his bulk on late in the season when he started doing additional weight training aimed at achieving that.
Misson announced it at a 40 Years Member Event where he indicted that Keeler had just started the extra training, and then hey presto Keeler transformed into a big unit in the weeks after after that.

Misson also indicated that Windhager who trains very hard, and does extra work was very influential in having Keeler follow his example in this.

Tall kids aren't usually fully developed until 23 y.o.
Always some exceptions.

I will be outrageously torqued if we belt the Pies straight up. I am planning to drive to Melbourne from Adelaide to beat having to pay hefty airline prices. Does anyone have an indication when the tickets will be released?

Also, for the Victorian locals, I am staying in Geelong during that entire weekend. Does anyone know if training it to the city is worth the hassle? Many thanks for any wisdom.

Live looked bigger and as I noted, getting a Paddy Ryder build with a big barrel chest.

Train from Geelong will take you an hour, runs every 20 minutes and $5 a trip. Same as catching a metro train in Melbourne.
Worth the hassle if you want to be able to have a few drinks or don’t want to get gouged with car parking fees

One thing Qld has done right in my time here, is 50 cent bus fees, even for that Geelong length of trip.

Why? I looked at his CV post his playing career and it is someone who has chosen to not be a coach at professional level, but to instead pursue an career as an artist.

??? Is that not the point?

What do mean? He has chosen to become an artist, not a coach. So it is 100% to do with it.

It is a major Arts Festival . See https://adelaidefringe.com.au/

Sorry you are off on a tangent.

The is nothing wrong with Gavin's career choice (The Arts) post his football career. Except if you are looking to appoint him as a coach at a high level.

The point is is that he has not sought to be a coach at all at professional and has no coaching experience apart from ofaa school team.

If you want to appoint a painter as our backline coach, well that is your opinion and all is good. But why the personal attack on myself?.

Personally I would hope that they will appoint some someone who has some coaching experience and has pursued that career, and who has also done some coaching training and development.

If you are inferring it is a racial slur, well that is just a rubbish comment. Xavier Clarke for example has been an excellent Assistant Coach at AFL Level.
Where's the personal attack? I said it's a shit take, nothing about you. Definitely no suggestion of racism from me, baffled why you brought that up.

The rest is fair enough, I thought you were saying that because he painted he couldn't coach. Another poster also said its more about the lack of coaching info in his bio than the additional of extra curricular stuff which is true.

But then again, I'm sure that thats not his professional bio: either him painting and exploring his identity isn’t the extent of his experience, or if it was, I'm certain we wouldn't be considering him for an important coaching role.

It's all moot probably as I'm sure he isnt the guy we've chosen.

Good to see some extra attention given for putting on size. We have need noticeably physically smaller then other teams the past few years so hopefully we start to address that.

Wilson and Hugo seem to have addressed that. Keeler putting in the work. Hopefully plenty more are doing the same.

After my (seemingly bad) call I notice Nas in the presser also praised him for being bigger and having put in some work.

Actually will be some pressure for key forward spots with Max bang and if Hammer goes forward again. Also think Tauru could potentially feature forward.
