yeah, I've heard that too. so who do we reckon we take if Rich don't take Grlj and Ess don't take Sharp. It means it's open to literally anyone. Also haven't been linked to Dovaston, Thredgold. etc. Geez, could it be Schubert?

Haven't had a coffee yet so haven't done all the mocking up of it - But think we will still have plenty to choose from out of Robey, Cumming, Nairn and Farrow (know the first two will very likely be gone obviously), that's when we may consider looking at Taylor as well. Can't see us looking at Schubert at all.

Culley has speed, contest and combative in the air. Absolute jet.

first of all, Culley is not fast. Mid range at best, possibly even slow compared to most mids.

I like him a lot but man about half our list are more likely to win a Brownlow

Latrell Pickett not considered good enough for Port Adelaide to list = absolute dud, not worth picking.

Culley delisted by the worst team in the comp = brownlow medallist and an absolute jet.

I reckon the scenario then is probably Nairn and we work some stuff around for Pickett or Dovaston instead. Maybe a small chance we look at Grlj.

We’ve been crying out for a more nimble, fast mid who can move the ball quickly.

Also if Sharp is available for us and weee not keen on him, it’s a prime opportunity to slide back for clubs desperate for that style of mid.

Maybe Hawks (12, 20) or Eagles (13, F2) or even Crows (16, F1).

First of all I doubt Pickett makes it to rookie selections, I doubt he makes it to our pick in the 30s. If you're not keen on him that's fine that's your opinion. My cheeky post was more on the fact that we shouldn't write players off based on being overlooked or delisted. For example Robey wasn't rated early on but he's worked on his game and has shot up the draft. I'm sure Pickett's the same, he wasn't doing enough for Port to select him and sounds like he's gone to work. The flipside is I agree that Culley looks pretty good, I think a lot of west coast supporters also think they should have kept him. Hopefully we get more of a better look next year.

I rate Leon Kickett higher from what I have seen and likely to be there later.

He'll likely be a late pick. Primarily looked good because he was much bigger/more physically mature than the kids he was playing against.
