Seriously though, that site is a joke. It's no problem writing rubbish (hell, we're on BigFooty - who are we to talk?) but they present it like they actually know anything.

Genuinely been caught stealing articles and just throwing them through an AI generator that slightly tinkers with the words.

I have a nephew in high school. Trust me, in this era of AI, it's as obvious as can be.

For the record I think our draft is pretty easy to predict.
19 unless we take an academy player (such as addinsall) will be the best slider left-ideally Lindsay but if the dogs take him then I reckon one of barker or Taylor or Ludowyke/schubert. 40 is going to be Murray if we want him (because he wont last to the rookie draft) or possibly someone like philipou or kondongiannis. Rookie picks will hopefully be mellor and rongdit if they get through.

From melting over drafting Holmes to melting if we don't draft a worse version of Holmes.

North did make quite possibly the worst draft mistake we've ever seen just last year. I agree it's highly unlikely, but these things do happen.

It's part of why we don't go down - and probably won't ever for an extended period - unless something goes horribly wrong with our admin, coaching, and larger footy department.

You're competing against clubs who can't even get 'competence' down pat yet. It's a really low bar to be a quality side in this sport.

If past years are anything to go by Zerohanger will end up more accurate than nearly all on this site with their guesses.
Or better yet - rants - when Wells doesn't select the guy everyone wanted... Who ends up flopping elsewhere.

If the club rates him and doesnt rate the mids around that mark, then i can see it being a good pick.

We have no developing VFL key defenders, and blicavs is 35... Kolo is getting on...

They may prefer to move COS to the midfield or have flexibility with SDK.

I can even see if we dont find a key forward replacement we throw SDK forward when cameron retires

Twomey has Carl swapping pick 11 with Nth for 25 plus an F2. Seems like a bargain for Nth. Surely we could offer 19 plus an F2 which would be a better offer albeit Nth’s F2 will be higher than ours.

I probably wouldn't bother. Reasonably good deal for carlton.

I think you can make an argument that Melbourne will be no worse this year than last

It was shocking at the time but looking at the draft coming through this year it's maybe not that awful. It's still not a good move but Whitlock is probably top ten in this draft. There's plenty of other howlers out there worse imo.

That's fair, the way I saw it is they could have just traded down and picked up Tauru and Whitlock and finally got some quality into that spine, and then picked someone like CDT/Taylor/Robey this year to really hammer it home.

I'd take that 1000 times over just FOS (who I rate, but don't think will be a superstar) and then paying a fortune for Whitlock too.

The offers to get up the order last year were ridiculous. They could've made out like bandits trading down, and instead let Richmond do it to them instead.

I like how with the Draft, Hope is a strategy. Lot of unknown unknowns.
