Nothing to see here, it's just the night before the draft

There’s levels to strength though, Cripps is one of the strongest players in the entire league. If he was 188cms and less strong he wouldn’t be nearly as effective.

If you want me to agree with you than yes, if you take away Cripps biggest POD and the primary reason he is as good as he is, him and Sharp have similar traits.
Right he’d probably be less effective to an extent but there’s no telling exactly how much. He’d still be an AA level player at that height imo.

Anyway it’s all just semantics, there’s nothing to this divergence.

Whats the situation with arlo draper? Haven’t been keeping up with board regularly
Reminiscing on previous drafts where members here were melting we took Hough when Draper was available. Pointing out most people have NFI where to rank players, especially later in the draft.

Some of the takes in here are fascinating. I know we have an attachment to our NGAs but that doesn't mean that they will be best available at our selection, or even main draft worthy.

If we miss out on someone we rate as a rookie lister because someone rates them much higher, so be it. If matching Williams means we miss out on one of the others, so be it.

Fans here have got themselves all worked up over nonsense. The constant desire to compromise drafting higher rated talent for lesser rated talent is mind boggling.

It's just FOMO - WCE fans are shocking for it.

Could be a by product of players rarely leaving in the past, or just a mentality of not wanting to miss out and be 'exposed' as foolish but I think the prospect of Freo nabbing Wes Walley in the 70s and the prospect of him kicking goals in a Derby would tip a few of these guys right over the edge.

Look at the panic about Campbell Chesser leaving...

We have a good draft team, going off of the last 2 years. Duursma and CDT all the way. Love Sharp but we have to go for the difference makers and that's what Duffma is. The dream would be that we end up with Sharp or Grlj at 13/19, unlikely, but there is a chance!

Either way, our team will suddenly have some excellent talent next year, with another good draft to come (NGA + Ladder position). Getting our current NGA's/Banfield isn't the icing, but some nice accessories that we get for free (hopefully). Its going to be a good day (or two).

With all due respect to Williams, who I would be happy to have on the list, there are at least four players not in Twomey's Mock (Greaves, NHH, Phillipou, Frod) that I would take over him. Might be worth leaving on the table depending who is on the board when a bid comes...

Though this does open the door for a "against the team that didnt want him"

A lot of you folks would do well to incorporate “I think” or “at this stage” when posting about these teenagers, lest you look pretty foolish in a few years time.

Gday to Arlo Draper if you’re reading this on lunch break from your nightfill job.

Thank Christ this thread will be closed soon.
Jokes on you, Badge. Factually incorrect.

Colesworth stopped nightfill to save $$$ so now I can't get through the damn aisles past their pallets during the day to get the delicious soy yoghurt. Absolute campaigners.

One more reason to draft Aldi at pick 1.

Happy draft day all!!!!

And remember this, every team in the comp wants our picks, we don't want theirs.
