Great pick, really good prospect and fills a huge need.

I hope the Wombat is going easy on the Grazing. He looks to have a fair bit of competition around the burrow.

TOBYN MURRAY
“There will be an element of bias in what I say, but he is absolutely ready to be on an AFL list,’’ Geelong coach Mark Corrigan said of his bouncy small forward from Colac.
“His physical attributes are through the roof in terms of his speed, his power and his aerobic capacity. He’s one of those rare kids who can cover 14, 15km a game and his high speed is unbelievable. He’s tough in the contest and he knows where the goals are.’’
Not quite a Toby, not quite a Robyn but man oh man.Who?
That's a very tasty little highlights package.
Given Wallsy's track record with identifying mature talent I'm pretty excited about this one.

Yes with those atteibutes. Hopefully has the fitness base already. From Colac he will be a tough and resilant (very cold and wet in winter) , looks like a natural Winger to me so Sharpy, JOM and NOD on notice
Ah, right. I didn’t realise he was Jewish.Jib cut looks good.
Love it. Classic Wallsy left field pick.
Looks to be much more the small forward prototype opposed to Sweid who’s more of your high half forward with midfield capabilities. Murray has good burst speed, crumbing ability and goal sense. Mature ager who looks readymade for an early debut.
Like that we identified a need for forward half talent this off-season, just need Whan to slide through to cat B and it’s a pretty decent draft haul.
