We are no longer drafting players..we are bloody drafting entire teams.
this is the biggest joke, as I mentioned only guy from central that we did not take was Sharpe, swap with dalton and would have taken whole team, no one else would have a say in picking up central players. we have monopoly

So talking to someone who knows these 3 kids football ability very well, rated Matt LeRay probably the most skilful out of the 3, said he and Cameron Nairn would need to work on there endurance but thinks that shouldn't be a problem.
Also Aidan Schubert had great hands but likens him to John Butcher. Great mark, terrible kick. Will need to work hard to fix this problem.
Great kids though and was pleased for them.
Said LeRay came from nowhere really last couple of years, just kept getting better.

So many nicknames floated so far. Given who he aspires to be like I'm surprised no one has suggested LeDay yet.

And based on his highlights I can definitely see the comparison. The way he marks it and the long strides through the contest. All Will Day coded.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him debut next season.

Might take a few pre-seasons to transform from his ‘cricketer’s bod’ (with all due respect, and also with an acknowledgment that Travis Head is our new Prime Minister) to an ‘AFL bod’, which might throw his game a bit. However, for me he is the most exciting, in a really exciting draft haul. I don’t dare make the comparison with current player I want to make. Go well son.

Sorry for the silliness the other day.

Thought I could have a bit of fun with LeRay's anagrams.

I didn't realise until looking at it but, LeRay and Greeves are standing side by side in the back row of the 2022 SSA U15 All-Australian photo here.

Nairn came 4th overall in the 2km time trial. Endurance is one of his strengths.
