Jansen will be kicking himself,Cricket is such a mental sport he played different when the number 11 came out which cost hm, Manaraj isn't a number 11

so funny to watch this test after what happened in Perth

Marco Jansen is going to be a nightmare to face on this Guwahati wicket in Indias 2nd innings.

India don't know whether to run or hide with the bat at the moment.

This is f**king huge for world cricket just quietly. Not so much India losing - that had already started with them losing to NZ so we knew the door was ajar if teams got it right. But 12 months ago I doubt many people would have predicted that SA would be the next side to walk through it.

gee they’re putting together a good resumè now. You’d have to think - and I know Australia’s next series IS a three gamer - they’ll be getting more three match series again going forward

So glad there is some test match cricket on today. Thank you India and South Africa for providing me with entertainment on a Monday, where I probably would have been watching Ashes , if it didn't clash.

And the standard of what I have seen from today , is the good old traditional cricket.

Shaun Pollock saying the wicket is starting to 'misbehave'
That's the reward for the batsmen having the discipline and ability to bat long in the first dig.

Bavuma is an interesting figure. He turned his batting around having seemingly been given too much rope but you can't help thinking that the parlous state of SA cricket when he took over has made him as a captain the same way it made Smith when he succeeded Pollock in the wake of the World Cup farce.

I hope Harmer plays a good deal more tests but it'll be tough with Maharaj around.
