I know a few people at old xavs and they rate him pretty highly but they’re also adamant his deal is Nas related and he’s probs not really worth a spot

Why would we want another small forward who is obviously not up to it when we have Buter , Higgins, Ryan and everyone's love child Lance and maybe Said .
I don't disagree that me may have some talent , its just not AFL standard

What’s this about Henry being in some bother?

It appears as if the Saints TV video has been re-edited to omit Henry's finish in the 3km so I can't link it to you.
He could be seen to be struggling to finish and collapsed after crossing the line. Did look to be in some distress and had some attention by staff to cool him off. Was only a short excerp from the trial, which left us wondering if he was OK. Have to admire the willpower to push himself to that level of fatigue / distress and still finish.

I read an article on LDU. He was talking about how he kept getting injured due to over training.

In 2024 he was finding a better balance which lead to him playing nearly every game in 2025.

The Pou is on record saying he is only at the club, at home or Southland. He will find that balance.

Don’t really agree that Higgins, Ryan and Said are like for like.

Phillipou has been in all the training drills for the full session both times I hsve been at training.
Dont think him running 2k instead of 3 is an issue.

I’d be a pretty keen observer 2 weeks from now and see if he is involved in the non contact stuff.

You won’t be alone but it’s too early to say for me. There’s still three and a half months until our first match. I’ve been to a couple of training sessions and, while Max hasn’t been doing too much, I’m waiting at least until post Christmas before I’m making a call either way.

Does he look strong? If so perhaps they're just running an extended rehab strengthening program.

No point him hitting top flight in December if he could have been building stronger foundations instead.
