Has bowled well today if about a stump too wide. Seales likewise about a metre too short. Layne and Shields aren’t up to it. Layne has some good deliveries in him and is only young so he will get better but doesn’t have the consistency to build pressure, Shields was a strange selection at 29 and without a great first class record.

Our batting makes it a par score at least though. Hopefully the usual NZ trick of the wickets flattening out a bit gives us a hand. 350+ would be nice
