I can’t go past the showdown win with Dawson’s kick after the siren.

As I was there I loved the home prelim against Geelong.

Bogey side, superstar ex player, pressure on, and we destroyed them from the start.

Some memorable ones:

1991 R1 vs Hawthorn - get some hawk on your fork
1993 vs North Melbourne - huge comeback and MOTY from mods
1995 vs Hawthorn - McLeod goal in the wet
1997 vs WB - Preliminary final

Hard to go past our 2004 win against North Melbourne

An epic come from behind victory at home. Kangaroos were leading by 4 points at half time (score was 0.10 Adelaide to 1.8 North). We come out and blitz the scoreboard with a further 9 shots on goal to 3, putting us up by 7 points (2 goals 17 behinds to 2 goals 10 behinds at 3QT).

A frenetic last quarter where both sides score 3.2 and we take the win (5.19 to 5.12)

another Bulldogs final is my favourite , the 2015 Qualifying Final at MCG

High emotion as we make the finals after Walsh death, incredible finish with Tex run down wing and kick to Cameron.
All of these are correct

The 1998 semi final probably needs more love.

For pretty much any other Crows team in our 35 year existence, it would have been a white flag, surrender game, and out in straight sets.

Thrashed by Melbourne in week 1, the club's highest profile player dropped and humiliated, playing away in tough conditions. We even got reamed by the umps.

Vardy with one of the all time finals performances that night.

Wish I was old enough to really appreciate it at the time.
Free kicks 17-3 at half time lol

Kerls was going bananas on the boundary with his special comments

Correct answer.

There’s been better wins.
There’s been more important wins.

Showdown after the siren though is like a wet dream.
Showdown final for me is the most memorable.

We lost the week before & they won & were trash talking us all week. Laughed when the guys who brought in a Crows coffin walked it back out early in the last quarter.

A great win but probably the worst game I've ever seen

Final round of 1993, beat Collingwood at home to make the finals for the first time. Amazing atmosphere
You took the words right outta my mouth.

I still believe it was the loudest crowd in any Crows home game. The initial shock when Collingwood jumped us, then the tsunami as we fought back and finally the joy of knowing we would be playing in our first final (s) and the chanting in the last quarter.

Based on? People who prefer wins from pre 2000 or not ? Lol

the Dawson showdown was a bog average game with an exciting end. its a good win but to rank it above far better wins is really strange. Especially ones with more on the line. Showdown 2 was infinitely better with a come from behind win in the wet to win our first showdown. Everyone is entitled to your opinion, doesnt mean you dont get called out for it.

The topic is what our best ever win was, not what the best quality game we were involved in was. I was born in 88, so have essentially seen 90% of our games and the Dawson goal was as good a feeling as I can remember following the club.

no actually it was to nominate the best ever win as a whole.

I was at the Dawson showdown and from my seat I thought the ball was sailing in for a behind, but the atmosphere was crazy when at the last second it went through. I dont think you can buy that sort of atmosphere, so thats why I went with that one. It still sticks with me when I watch those last 2 minutes. Oh the poor Power supporters at the game initially screaming with happiness only to finish with tears. I’m a cruel bastard, but I love it!

Everyones entitled to have their favourite games. But you said you watch those last two minutes. I watch the 1997 dogs preliminary final from start to finish. the whole game was riviting. Thats the difference between a great finish and a great win.

Yeah I excluded finals. So what’s your best ever non finals?

the 1993 rd 22 win over collingwood. must win to make finals. Jumped by collingwood in the first quarter but fought back. Has to rank really highly.

The 2nd showdown when we came back 4 goals down in the last quarter in the wet. Was in attendance and damn what game.
