One of them was apparently known to ASIO. I suspect a suburban man owning 6 rifles was why he was “known”.
Mind boggling incompetence.

He was suspected to be a member of Islamic state. Why does someone like that get a firearms licence?

Albo needs to find out why and give the order of the boot to every member of ASIO responsible for that dereliction of duty.

What a load of shit, you have fallen hook line and sinker for her rhetoric. If you honestly believe that your what's wrong with this country.
like it or not. Pauline Hanson's popularity will continue to grow because of this despicable incident from crazed gunmen.

This clip is 10:43 and is exactly in line with the bridge.

Can't see this anymore but did anyone else notice one of the cops looked a bit distressed after pulling up and getting out of their vehicle? They didn't rush to the bridge with the other cops and it looked like their partner stayed behind with them

News Corp headline:

Public sentiment is turning on Albanese

Literally not even 24 hours after the event.

News corp were there on the street within an hour trying to spin it.

With these events, it’s always the very worst people who are loudest straight after.

The older shooter had SIX licensed firearms.

How the hell does that not sound warning bells?

Back in the 70s I used to shoot feral goats in the Flinders Ranges and I never needed more than two firearms.

There’s people out there with literally hundreds of licensed guns.

There’s no cap on it afaik.

The world is just filled with pure f****** hate these days

Tbh we live in perhaps the most peaceful time in recorded history.

There’s quite possibly less hate and violence now than in any other time.

That’s what makes these events so jarring - they’re so out of place.

We see this thing all the time, just not in Australia. That's why it's jarring for Australians.

Identity of one of the shooters.

How was his driving licence made public so quickly?

Cops are getting a bashing on X. Especially this female cop that hid the entire time and was watching while the hero took the weapon off the shooter. She is actually watching the guy take the gun off the shooter in this pic.
So many extra deaths because the police first on the scene were either ordered to wait, or were just cowards with a badge.
Footage shows for at least 10 mins, no shots were fired at the shooters. The shooters did what they liked. If the police had fired shots at the shooters, they would've been forced to take cover and not stand there picking off targets at will and many lives would've been saved.

There was one brave cop that day in this second picture. He got very close behind the shooters and stood behind a tree and in one of the videos, it looks like he took out the shooter who was originally disarmed but had collected a spare gun and was again shooting at people. The other shooter on the bridge in all black, then started firing back at him and he took cover behind a tree. Hope he is ok, he saved a lot of lives that day.

Reading some of the stuff online, the dad had a gun license for 10 years and the son didn't have a license

Son was a member of the local gun club

Where has it been confirmed he was suspected to be ISIS?

That's wrong. She is happy for any migrants to come here as long as they assimilate and adopt and contribute to Australia. That sounds reasonable to me.
And what’s your view of assimilation? Because last time I checked they aren’t all responsible for yesterday’s incident. Contributing to Australia? I work with many individuals in the Islamic community who have successful businesses. They all pay tax and they all work very hard.

Albanese and Wong.

Two names that will go down as the end of our great country.

I feel sick.
What a ridiculous comment.

This needs to change & unfortunately takes an event like this to make it happen.

 I just said that i read he was a christian.

‘Ahmed, a Muslim, arrived in Sydney more than a decade ago from Syria. The 43-year-old tobacco shop owner is the father of two daughters aged five and six.’

I don't know the laws in NSW about gun licenses but seems they don't care who owns them. In WA, these scum would never be given a license unless they could prove they owned a livestock farm.
