Not in the 15 man squad so would think they could not pick him but should have been in the 15 before Inglis.

Nothing says you can’t draft a player in it’s just unusual
 
Much more likely to get the batsman to play from around, which brings in more dismissals. I don't think you'd go back to over just to slightly increase the LBW likelihood.
Was thinking the same, by going around , you would confuse the batter by having the ball that continues across the face and have a ball that seams back in.
 
Fair play to Archer, he's putting in 140kph+ effort so far, but Carse is bowling some absolute tripe...

I’m not sure he’s got the ability to swing it away from around the wicket like Broad did or even Archer can

At least from over he had the bowled and LBW in play or the slips were in play for the ones that went straight on. From around I feel his only chances is a strangle to leg gully or WK

For some reason England's batting has everyone in knots when it's been fine or at least competitive.
Their bowling is a shambles. Bowling all over the place and field just anywhere no real set plan.

England dont like this. If the Aussies keep them in the field for a decent while as possible I don't see how they can win.
