There was SO MUCH talk in the lead up to Noosa about how it was a terrible move and all the prep talk that was going on - particularly after they clearly needed more time with the pink ball.

Given they are acutely aware of how they're being perceived in the media, that's a failing on the staff as much as the players. You cannot tell me that there was no thought about this as they were heading over to Noosa.

Like, it would have been a bad look if the series was anything less than 2-0 up for them. and it would have backfired tremendously if they then lost in Adelaide after started 2-0 up.

$17 a pint is absolute extortion. Still find a few pubs in Melb doing $10 pints, but a rarity. Shout out to Rocky Ridge in East Brusnwick for its $6 pints on Sundays – god bless them.

One of the beautiful things that my pre-retirement life in mining lead to was Lifetime Gold in Qantas Frequent flyer.

I don't have to buy beer in pretty much any airport worldwide, unless it's before noon domestic flights. And let's be honest, if its a choice between getting some of my exorbitant airfare charges back in the form of free piss or flying at an uncivilized hour, I'm going with free piss thanks very much.

Wait until the lounge access goes on sale (usually once or twice a year) and get it if you fly more than a couple times a year. Don't think they include guest passes anymore with it, but you can easily get the money back on it if you get there and glutton it up
