I wouldn't pick him as a spinner, but if Smith doesn't get up, you could do worse than pick him for Inglis.Cooper in the mix as well

Murphy over Rochiccolli feels like a 3-0 selection, go with the long term post Lyon plan over the best spinner for winning that test and I think that's disgraceful. (I fully support using that same logic to pick Jhye over Neser, Inglis over Usman and Green over Webster though)

A bit of a hometown selection, I daresay.
Feel for Rocco but Murphy was the easy choice. Selectors for once had a free pass as no matter who they chose they weren't going to be 'wrong'.
I hope Neser gets the nod over Jhye just through sheer body of work over his career.

If Jhye is fit, he bye and sells Neser IMO.
Neser seems to be picked as a pink ball specialist.
I'm not sure how affective he'd been on a flat track.
Jhye bowls at 140 plus and swings it.
Are strikers forced to play Neislen? For years they’ve played him at 8. Surely in t20 crickets it would be ok making a make shift keeper and playing an extra batter. Or heck even give an up coming local keeper batter a chance

Was thinking of what happened to Dan Worrell. Had a few solid shield seasons and played a few ODi’s. Turns out he’s playing county and has switched allegiance to England. Thats him bowling to the poms in Adelaide and I suspect with the top, he would have been sitting with barmy army.
I actually wouldn’t have minded seeing him playing for England. Would have added to the rivalry even more.
