I still have doubts over his availability.I still think the poms can win one tuggs...and I am sticking with my pre series prediction of 3-1 to Aus
But you are right they are going to cop it. I do think they have underperformed so far with the talent they have got...I can see harry brook getting his shit together and scoring big these next two tests....he is a jet of a player when on....and smith has found some form thats a worry.
and with our attack being old/injured I can see the poms cashing in
Smudge was seen with a beer ....I think he will be fine come Boxing Day
He was batting in the nets morning of day 4 or 5 I believe. He'll be rightI still have doubts over his availability.
It's concerning nothing has been said by CA IMO.
You dont say?I don’t post much,

Ah bugger! Comprehension skills, hey. Ah well, maybe I need to post a bit more, maybe after reading twice

I'm still concerned about there being nothing from CA saying yes fit.He was batting in the nets morning of day 4 or 5 I believe. He'll be right
I wouldn't pick him as a spinner, but if Smith doesn't get up, you could do worse than pick him for Inglis.Cooper in the mix as well
can I dream that we will have green inglis Jhye Rocco and Cooper all playing in front of a Boxing Day crowd full of prictorianslol
probably not..but its a chance

McSweeney sprained an ankle and is out injured. If Smith doesn't get up (and you want to drop Inglis), McSweeney deserves a shot at not opening.
A bit of a hometown selection, I daresay.Murphy over Rochiccolli feels like a 3-0 selection, go with the long term post Lyon plan over the best spinner for winning that test and I think that's disgraceful. (I fully support using that same logic to pick Jhye over Neser, Inglis over Usman and Green over Webster though)
Tbf I don’t get the sense CA rates Rocho that highly compared to all the other red ball spinnersMurphy over Rochiccolli feels like a 3-0 selection, go with the long term post Lyon plan over the best spinner for winning that test and I think that's disgraceful. (I fully support using that same logic to pick Jhye over Neser, Inglis over Usman and Green over Webster though)
Played both games on the recent Aus A tour of India, I doubt be was far off here.Tbf I don’t get the sense CA rates Rocho that highly compared to all the other red ball spinners
If Jhye is fit, he bye and sells Neser IMO.Feel for Rocco but Murphy was the easy choice. Selectors for once had a free pass as no matter who they chose they weren't going to be 'wrong'.
I hope Neser gets the nod over Jhye just through sheer body of work over his career.
They used Ollie Pope last season but haven't replaced him, so Nielsen is it until Carey is available. Are strikers forced to play Neislen? For years they’ve played him at 8. Surely in t20 crickets it would be ok making a make shift keeper and playing an extra batter. Or heck even give an up coming local keeper batter a chance
