Not sure. I used it more because I snore and wake up in the morning with a dry mouth and sometimes a sore throat. Seemed to work well in that regard....

edit haha I didn't see your edit. Could lose a bit but I've always snored. Want to see if stopping the mouth breathing fixes it.

Go get a sleep test find sounds like sleep apnea , when I lost my 20 kg after cancer my snoring stopped (Ozempic) has helped keep the weight off

i know of a lot of alcos that went on blood pressure meds and then continued drinking and had a stroke real fast/got sent to aged care
