You can’t tell me we wouldn’t get at least similar value if not more with M.Cox, if we want to retain the two rucks.

And OBriens was 35%. What’s your point? Had they not played him, McAndrew would have had his arseh*le torn.

Very agreeable win...

JOM has to spend the rest of his career at Peel. Just not up to it anymore. I understand bringing him in last week with the conditions but it should have been a one and done situation. Bring NOD back in or try someone like Simpson or Walker on that wing.

We really need to get these fadeouts under control and work on holding up when we are under pressure. Adelaide were scoring far too often when going inside 50. If we played Brisbane or the Dogs we lose this by 5+ goals.

Goal kicking needs some work. If we lost this game it would be the biggest reason why. The chance to put the nail in the coffin and we miss 3 easy goals before they exploded. Voss with something like 3.12 for the season is a joke, tbh.

I like Worner but his ****ups have been extremely costly this season. I don't know what has happened from last season to this but he should be on the chopping block if we have selection integrity.

From a defensive point of view we need both Cox and Ryan but there are times where their inability or unwillingness to move it faster hurt us in transition. Sometimes they just need to get and give straight away instead of going back on the mark.

Thought O'Meara was solid outside of that last mistake, he shouldn't be missing that regardless, but it's not like there's anyone banging the door down at Peel, was hardly our worst on.

Shouldn't complain about an away win to the minor premiers but gee Freo make it very tempting.

I think that was Chapman's best game for us. We've all potted him for his panicky moments but he was one of the few who in the backline who didn't shit the bed.
Worner on the other hand... I like the guy but he's basically the new Banfield with how costly his brainfades can be.

McVee's game was overhated, I thought he was solid

Mcvee concerns me

That was the best game Chapman has played since his debut year I reckon.

And tonight showed the real benefit of the three headed monster. Crows clearly went in very Treacy conscious and it allowed Amiss (and to a lesser extent Voss) to get off the chain. And Treacy still kicks 2 himself because he's such a f**king gun.

On that note it was great to see Amiss hit that ball on the lead at a million miles an hour and take it in his hands. That's the sort of confidence that's been missing from his game. When he's second guessing himself he tries to take too many on the chest and it allows the defenders to get the fist in.

And a shout out to Clarke in the last quarter, got the clearance, kicked to space and followed it up to disrupt the ball when Adelaide were about to launch it back in.
I'm telling ya, we should give him the odd rotation through the midfield. I can just see him bursting out of there like Holmes.

I was quite impressed with Hinkley as a commentator, but then again he was only up against dud Roooooshooter, so the bar wasn't very high...

Meanwhile M.Cox best on ground for Peel today.

The other worry with this is that if Jackson does go down. Unfair to expect 70-80% of Darcy after these sort of numbers all year. Won't have it in the legs.

Even if it's just to get his fitness up, needs a few games closer to 70%. If that can't be at AFL level, then WAFL it is for those games

Our next step is playing a full four quarters. If we dont learn that we aren’t a premiership contender.

Johnson having the gall to run through the center and break the stalemate was epic. He used to be our cat 10 guy.

I still think we need more run off half back. Warner, Wagner, McVee please lift.

JOM two great kicks inside 50 but that was it.
Back Walker for McVee. Both won’t be dropped

Also I don't understand what McVee is said to bring to the side, and I find it hard to see JOM keep on getting picked.

Hopefully we are willing to bring in players instead of just sticking with the likes of McVee and JOM because they are "senior players".

JL just said he did something he doesn't usually do at 3qt. He referenced the Geelong game in the huddle and said we lacked dare and run and (warned? don't know the right word) us not to do it again

Great win, but our goal kicking at the start of the 3rd was horrible and left the door open, umps stepped up with a massive effort, tge Worner gifted them the goal that opened the flood gates. Finally some epic defensive efforts to actually win a close one at Adelaide.
Wasn’t Chapmans amazing spoil in Adelaide?

It’s not even a Cox thing at this point.

We could play anyone in any position instead of Darcy and still be fine.

Let’s not forget when Voss would jump in as second ruck and perform absolutely fine.
