Lost to Richmond by 8 points hardley the “no where near the Tigers” comment you posted.

And don’t give me that bs “the game was a dead rubber for the Tigers”

One team has competed in finals 5 out of 6 years and won a flag.
The other got suspended for a systematic doping system and hasn’t won a final in over 5000 days.
Bombers are nowhere near the tigers in anyway currently.

Collingwood
I was tipping us to at least finish 2nd but with how we got shafted by the fixture I think 5th or 6th will do us comfortably. Not even mad that we have to double-up against all Preliminary Finalists, just annoyed at how a club who finished 1st on the ladder got virtually a free ticket into the top 4 again. **** us for actually making the grand final right?

You forgot your critique of Richmond:
- How will they respond after being humiliated in the Preliminary final?
- Has their gameplan now been worked out by other teams after being the hunted for the better part of two seasons?
- Will they still have the hunger required to contend again?
- How will they go if they don't have the same dream injury run that they've had for the past two seasons, particularly given they have delisted/traded a number of depth players?

At least we didn't choke after quarter time in the GF. Embarrassing. Hate to think what effect that will have on Pies. Oh dear.

So you make the finals on the back of soft draws for the last however many years, then complain when you get a harder draw? What were you expecting? Tigers had the 2nd hardest draw last season (as ranked by Champion Data) and still finished top. If you’re good enough, you’ll win. That simple. Draw shouldn’t be an issue.

I'm not complaining that we got a harder draw, I'm complaining that teams who finished higher than us got an easier draw. It's absolute nonsense and I can't believe you can even defend it. We got an easy draw the past couple of years because we were finishing around the 13th mark which warrants an easier fixture. I'm okay with our fixture, just not happy with yours considering you guys were the minor premiers.

I was saying it when we had an easy draw and I'm still saying it now, need to institute the 18 - 4 fixture. It's the only way shit like this can be avoided.

We finished 3rd for the season and you guys 2nd by seasons completion. Therefore you get a harder draw.
I’m not defending anything. I offered a comparison after we had a great year in 2017.

We have a pretty easy fixture. The AFL want us to win this year, like they did with Collingwood in 2010.

OP's prediction would be the AFL's wet dream. Hopefully none of them make it that far.
The AFL’s wet dream would involve Gold Coast, GWS and to a lesser extent Brisbane and Sydney.

Richmond had only a marginally harder draw than Collingwood based on retrospective ladder positions.

Combine that with the fact that both times you played Collingwood you were blessed with the fact we had multiple in-match game ending injuries.

Based on that alone, your draw, in retrospect, was easier than Collingwood's.

Which kind of explains why you fell short against us when it mattered most.

Bombers spanked the Eagles in Perth, clearly Bombers are well ahead in the chase for a flag.

Keep swinging punchy. Every time i think you have run out of shit to type, bang, you give some more. 2 wins in 8 attempts suggests your win was a fluke. But hey, well done on winning the fla......oh, wait a minute.....

Don't you know Richmond are immuned to being critiqued since they won the flag.

Richmond fans will always tell you they're best and cant do nothing wrong while everyone else is sht.

Yep. The way they are still carrying on it is as if the last two weeks of the finals didn't happen, and back to back was the formality they spent the whole season telling us it was.

Why stop at 8 matches?

What happened in the seven games prior to your period of dominance against us?

You're the one carrying on, for the love of God they'll shut up when you do.

Yes when you were pushing hard to make finals and we already had a top 2 spot sewn up.
Wonder who might come out harder?
Tell me how did the game go earlier in the season when we had more to play for?
You’re not close to us at this stage, only complete bias and delusion could lead anybody to that belief.

Oh look. Thread turned into a Richmond Collingwood shitfight.
How novel.

Lel, Collingwood bradbury a 2nd place and now think they are relevant again. It’s not really a fight. It’s more a big brother beat down (Richmond) on a team that’s won two flags in 60 years (little brother Collingwood). North, Melbourne, Sydney, Richmond, Bombers, shit, even Carlton have won more flags than Collingwood in that timeframe.

Why 60 years?

Why not AFL era (ie post 1989ish)?

60 years sounds so much better. I mean geez, that’s a big number.

A flag from the amateur era when the competition had 12 teams in Melbourne and Geelong is a lot different than a flag now.

AFL era flags are a more appropriate metric for shitfight purposes.

I can guarantee that at some point in the season Adelaide, Brisbane and Carlton will be top three, just shading Collingwood.
I’ll go one better and say Richmond, Collingwood, Carlton and Geelong will all be top four at some point this year.

...Carlton better not go ****ing scoreless in Round 1. Wouldn’t put it past them.
