Yeah it's something that analysts have had a big hand in. It reduces the big strength that so many lefties have waiting for a wider one to put away, and umpires are much more willing to give the LBW brought on by the ball tracker (see also spin bowlers)

Potentially it's because it opens up LBW with the ball being allowed to pitch outside off. I also think it makes the batsmen play at more balls because it's angling towards them rather than away

I actually think bowlers these days aren’t as skilled. I was always taught to stay over the wicket but adjust my line. I’d have thought you can force more shots angling away?

He has plenty of campaigner in him, love that he was the guy who was able to lead them to victory against us in 05. No easy feat. Aussies at their best and these Poms finally got some serious mongrel about them and got the win. Vaughan was a great leader.
