.... Have never had a positive experience when attending a crows home game, even when I'm just going with mates as a neutral supporter. Once went to a game with a Collingwood supporter relative. The person next to me saw I was with a Collingwood fan, quite literally stuck.his nose up at the two of us and shifted in his seat to the other side of his seat to give himself an extra 6 inches of space because he couldn't be near, as he delicately said to his wife, "the bloody ferals." ....
A mate of mine, born and bred in Adelaide, is a Collingwood supporter from before there were any SA teams in the AFL. Some years ago he and his wife, wearing Collingwood paraphernalia, were at a Crows v Collingwood game and were abused (not heckled). He says it started as "F^&% off back to Victoria" and the like but when my mate said they were South Australians the vitriol went up to a new level. He HATES them now. FWIW quite enjoys going when we are playing them, he and his wife have (to date) been made to feel welcome.

In my experience, most SA based supporters of interstate teams, unless they have a carryover hatred of Port from SANFL days, like Port a whole lot better than the Crows.

And even if they do, it is because we beat their team all the time, not some vitriolic lunacy.

There is only one supporter base in the whole country that you can't have a level headed informed discussion about football with.

When I lived in Melbourne I used to attend all the Port matches there. Alway got into good-natured, but serious banter with surrounding oppo supporters. Game over, and they would always reach out there hand for a handshake with a "well done", or the like. Never an issue or bad word!

Waiting for channel 7 to beat up Robbie's injury far more than what it is.

Andrew Jarman believes he has had his leg amputated.

He was indeed. Remember reading an excerpt from his book in the paper that he and his best mate were Port supporters and his mate wouldn't change when the Roo started playing AFL. Pretty sure that they had a big falling out about 15 years later and I think he died and they had never reconciled.

Perhaps we can add Chris McDermott to this list as his maternal grandfather was Port Champion and Legend, Bro Dayman.

Used to travel to Melbourne a lot and you can talk about the opposition teams with a bit of fun and banter. All you get from Crow supporters is vitriol, self importance and personal abuse. They are feral as.

Completely different culture over there. They’re used to sharing the city and its stadia with 9(10) other supporter bases. Over here you’ve got the us versus them mentality with a bunch of other snarling caveats thrown in (kick a vic, port ferals, we are SA, you backstabbed the SANFL, pay what you owe).

SA supporter culture was so much more pleasant when most of these hardos grew up supporting Torrens, South and Sturt.

So who was the Ports' player that Jarman said tore their hammy off the bone at Morgan the same weekend as Ollie's skiiing accident?

Or is the club still managing to keep it a secret?

North Kangaroos, West Eagles, Saint Saints, Gold Suns and Greater Giants. When these start being used regularly by media, clubs, AFL HQ and fans we'll accept Port Power as something other then an attempt to belittle the club and its supporters.
A Crow supporter last night referred to us as Port Power. I let it go but next time it's Adelaide Crows or Camry Crows.

Pretty good segment. Talked about disgruntled members, the AGM, the captaincy etc., stupid buses questions lol. Then at the. end just about confirmed but didn’t put it exactly in these terms that Port are aware and getting pissed off at some very dirty off field. tactics being used by the West Lakes mob to destroy Ports image. and that Port have had enough and that something might be coming back the other way.
Good, well overdue. Fight dirty and hard

"Adelaide Crows" is who they actually are, similar to us being Port Adelaide Power (although I personally much prefer Port or Port Adelaide).

Not the most applicable terms, but they are valid.

Camry Crows would be close to their equivalent of Port Power.

This is a bit of track to your post which I agree with but for interstaters - a lot of people will support the original club in a particular state. I know many Vics who support crows over Port by default for said reason even though we are a proper club. They don't care enough to understand who we are and think the original club is more legit.
