It's going to be very interesting to see who ends up as Leader of the Flopposition after the election.
Bozo the Clown - No. Nobody gets re-elected after owning the biggest electoral wipeout in 40+ years.
Abbott - No. Will lose to Steggall. Can't be PM if you're not an MP.
Mr Potatohead - No. Will be voted out by the good voters of Dickson. Can't be PM if you're not an MP.
Bishop - No. Already announced her retirement.
Cormann - No. He's a Senator, and the PM has to come from the HoR.

Who does that leave?
The Minister for Israel?

Two and a bit months out from the election, watching the libs right now is like watching a video of someone punching themselves in the face, again and again, in slow motion. This pack of crooked campaigners deserve all the scorn we can muster.

I'm not pretty enough to be this stupid.

Not free, just hasn't been paid for yet.:)

Christian Porter says the Liberal party had agreed to purchase three campaign buses from a Western Australian company managed by ex-state Liberal politician Joe Francis months before he appointed Francis to a lucrative government-funded position.

Porter has denied claims that Francis provided the buses – one of which has been earmarked for his campaign – for free, but said the purchase agreement was timed to take place before the federal election, meaning the transaction has not yet been completed.

Francis, who lost his seat at the 2017 election, was appointed to the $244,000-a-year, seven-year posting at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) along with 13 other former Coalition MPs and staffers last week. ($1.7M over 7 years, expensive buses).

If he thinks that getting the buses BEFORE the appointment puts him in a good light he really needs to consider the timeline

Neither timeline helps him actually

Corruption on a massive scale has become such an every day occurrence for them they don't even understand why people are complaining, let alone how to explain it away
That part they've got down pat now. They just say it was a mistake and I will repay/pay the money and that's the end of it as far as they're concerned.

Try that on Centrelink

Thats what annoys me the most. I try and do the right thing and declare all my earnings and I still had to go back 2 years and after providing them with proof I still had to pay

Yet '' oh yeah oops I forgot here take $2700 out of my $197,000 backbenchers salary. '

Big ****ing whoop

Anybody who isn't a Liberal Party MP. Slipper ended up in court without being given the opportunity to pay back his misclaimed expenses which was less than half of the money Cormann incorrectly (I'm being kind) claimed and was subsequently permitted to repay. It absolutely stinks of double standards.

Don't even have to look outside the Speaker in the House of Reps. *coughchoppergatecough*
