Atkins, Clark...

Well id expect all three (if fit) to play in JLT... its up to them to show their worth.
The reports on Atkins say is bringing the heat at training ..and they did not draft him play VFL imo.
Clark has the attribute to play HB wing.
Parsons probably has some preconceptions to jump.

That was never in doubt was it?
I assume with only 2 games that 80-90% of the side is our round 1 team.. With the people on the cusp fighting it out and getting a look via the extended benches.

Also big big fan of the club (and most others to be honest) organising their own scratch matches to fill the gap of dropping a game for the AFLX garbage.. Gives the kids a chance to see some other opposition and test themselves without compromising our prep

Nobody including Parsons?
- he should be up and about from training form.

Saw him warming up on KPwest oval before his stint in the NM praccy. He looks pretty mature body wise now.

I expect he will start in the VFL (as he should). I still have hope he will bring a more physical game this year and maybe play more behind the ball. He is one of the few genuinely quick movers in the side (watched him carefully in the early December training session I saw) and on the run his delivery is good.

I am glad there is now no reason to play him at half forward/ Forward pocket with Miers / Tarca / Dahlhaus /Rohan /Krueger available.

He has all the skills.
Just an attitude change away from establishing himself.
Does he have it in him?

I'd put him on a wing. Show him some videos on how Polec plays.
I think that type of style is his go.

His talent scouts at ER always said he is a classic winger, even hbf.
He has good size about him, and footy smarts.
I really feel he went into his shell too much after copping that Hodge suspension.

Btw, that Polec comparison I felt was very applicable to Murdoch as well. I do believe Parsons has more footy smarts than Murdoch, but Murdoch has the acceleration.

The club is doing an open training session for fans tomorrow. This is the first time in Perth in some 5 years.

Of course they've made it members only freezing out a bunch of fans. Shit act from the club.

A few added kilos will mean a lot to this bloke, 190/82 means his frame is way to thin imo. Polec is 187/84.
If Parsons is 85+kg this year he could be someone worth watching.
Taller guys like him can take a couple of extra years to gain the necessary weight he needs to be competitive.

This is another fine mess you've gotten us into, Stanley.
If they rest senior players this Friday we'll get a good look at what's on offer

Kolo Blicavs Stewart
Henry Taylor Clark
Cunico Duncan Kennerley
Kreuger Jarvis
Dahlhaus
Rohan
Ratagolea Miers
Fort Parfitt Kelly
Tarca Okunbor
Stanley Narkle Guthrie S.Selwood
Constable Brownless Atkins

Next week against the extra buffed (will there be an enquiry) Essendon, we will load up with Selwood, Danger, Ablett, Menegola, Henderson, Cockatoo, Bews, Hawkins,
Reduce the travel load off the injured and the veterans for a tilt at the early rounds

Paying members shouldn't get special treatment?

Could leave training open for all fans and have another meet or greet or something exclusive to members.

Surely the number of Perth fans keen enough to attend training but not to buy a membership would be relatively low.

Doesn't seem too egregious to me, even as an interstate fan that could be affected by something like that happening over here (although I should get my membership happening again, tbh...).

My pick at the squad, which will probably be a mile off who ends up boarding the plane to Perth:

Parfitt, Clark, Taylor, Kolodjashnij, Kelly, J.Selwood, S.Selwood, Ratugolea, Constable, Narkle, Rohan, Bews, Hawkins, Menegola, Fort, Atkins, Cunico, Miers, Dangerfield, Simpson, Henry, Dahlhaus, Jones, O'Connor, Abbott, Blicavs.

Can see us lining up like this:

B: Bews Blicavs Henry
HB: O'Connor Taylor Clark
C: Parfitt J.Selwood Narkle
HF: Rohan Hawkins Dahlhaus
F: Miers Ratugolea Atkins
Foll: Fort Dangerfield Kelly
Int: Abbott Constable Jones Menegola Simpson Kolodjashnij Cunico S.Selwood

Rested/missing: Stanley, Tuohy, Ablett, Cockatoo, Smith, Jarvis, Buzza, Fogarty, Kreuger, Brownless, Kennerley, Duncan, Henderson, C.Guthrie, Tarca, Parsons, Schlenslog, Z.Guthrie, Okunbor, Stewart

You might be way off but boy you couldn't give a better guess without more info IMHO
