But that was some pressure. And the second string was in. Let's see how they stand up in the fourth. Win or lose I'm really happy with this game. The best 22 will have a great shot at winning.

But they all know the rules and it goes both ways. Think it's too much of an advantage now. If a speedster gets a 50m can they just sprint forward 50 and always draw a second 50?

JLT is about blowing out the cobwebs and getting some game time into the young blokes. That sort of pressure from the Tigers is invaluable as a teaching tool in holding your nerve and learning to stop a run on - something we do struggle with

Overall it’s been pretty good
Won’t be surprised if the tigers run all over them this quarter but I won’t be going away disappointed

You are correct. A lot was switched up, particularly through the middle and the ball came in hard and fast.

Be interested to know the difference in set ups, for Hawthorn, in the 3rd quarter to the first half. All experimental, but the back six looked out of sorts with TOB and Mirra back there. Want to see a stronger 4th quarter, though result is unimportant.

Wonder whether it's a toss up between Conor Nash and Mitchell Lewis. You can't play both.... if you're playing one of them.
