Putrid display of skills with far too many not willing to take the game on. What happened to all the fast players we brought in?

We really can't play the MCG - the chip, chip around the boundary and holding onto the ball needs skill and body-strength which we sadly lack.

What I've learnt in the first half of the round 1

1. Mason Cox is protected because he's a yank.

2. The umpiring hasn't improved. It's deplorable.

3. The Enright experiment as a forward coach needs to end now. Pushing everyone up the ground so as when we get the ball we bomb it to unmarked defenders doesn't work.

4. We still overuse the handball.

5. Our skills are still poor.

6. We stand forward in the contest so when it slips out the back they've got unmarked players.

7. We still don't work hard enough.

8. Kolodjashnij isn't AFL standard.

9. It's also time to move on our midfield coach. We don't stand in the right spots hence why we're a poor clearance team.

10. Clark's a find.

I despaired over the GFC's sincerity about a 'new resolve and direction' when I heard they re-signed Kolo.

We just don't take the game on and when we do we handball to players under pressure. We're not direct enough or proactive,

This game from both sides is really poor quality. Carlton looked cleaner last night than the pies and cats.

I thought geelong were good in the first and terrible in the 2nd but pies didn't capitalise we probably should be 27 down with some of those misses.

Stanley is getting beat by a better player. Grundy is the AFL number one ruck. Our mids aren't doing much to change the scales.

Jebus! If our coaching panel only put as much time in our passing skills as it does looking for pressure forwards, we'd be sitting pretty. Forward pressure is so 2010. All it does is injures players, and cause tired ragged players to miss at goal.

Hawkins indecision when 50 out, made me throw up. His pathetic pass to Paritt got what it deserved. I'm glad Parfitt fumbled and looked unsure of himself. It made perfect sense. We got no skills, and we play like frightened rabbits.
