Redzel isnt any good ffs. carrying that weight was a big risk

2 trains of thought re NS now. fresh horse or pure enigma.
Better judges than me have identified the fresh factor with him - now that he's won a G1 you'd have to think it's probably pertinent.

Even when winning he still fell in a hole like a squib but credit to him and Waller.

Anyway, to summarise the race I got completely wrong - well done NS and his backers - perhaps being fresh is the key to him.

I thought they would kick up on Jungle Edge and hold the lead, jockey took a sit for some mind boggling reason so that's another thing I got wrong.

Only thing I was in the ballpark with was Redzel who regardless of the weight, will not win without controlling the race. Bad luck if you spent your hard earned on the wrong horse :$

Refer to my post about 10 pages back about going to back Pierata and NS if nature strip gets out to decent odds. Well of course i smashed Pierata and NS was too short for me to back. Going to slash my wrists now.

Also if pierata wins i and back in it on the tout board, instead i am about to be bankrupt!

broke clock etc etc. way overdue but still have to keep him short without being a faultless betting prospect because he genuinely caves in on some days.
Nah you called it and I gave him **** all - can't be ****ed changing my signature (more of a Paris thing) but give yourself a virtual place in my Punting Board HOF calls.

In fairness to me and my terrible analysis of the race, so much for Chris Waller telling every man and his dog that they'd be teaching the horse to settle and finish off. Go and get ****ed Chris you spanner :thumbsu:

He may just be an enigma and can’t maintain the performance yet(ever). Freshness isn’t something I buy in to too often so thinking freshness could be a confirmation bias but still things to work out with him.

that bit of squib late is probably the heavy 1100. genuinely run 1100 in mud not his go. still might be able to run 1200 if he can dictate but is a week in week out 1000m horse for sure.

Nah I was just talking shit, I don't think he was squibbing it here. Did the work and knocked up in the worst ground.

Would've run 1200 on the dry which is something Darren couldn't do so... yay Chris?? :rainbow:
