What’s everyone thinking par is this week? 2100? I’m 1764 with Williams, Billings, Goldy and Steele to play. Buggered up a couple picks but could still be 2100-2150 which Id take.

I think with the lack of decent rookies this year you need to suck up those scores on your bench if you arent willing to spend up.

The really interesting thing I see from this is that everyone will have limited cash generation which places an emphisis on smart trading and picking breakouts to win this year.

Can honestly say if I had Boak over one of Heeney/Dunkley then I'd be pretty content. Both of those blokes were playing forward a bit too much for my liking, Heeney especially.

Predicted Grundy's poor start but not Gawn's. Should have known, Lycett was epic in the finals last year.

Sheed, Cousins and Boak all spent fair bit of time in my team in PS. Was only really sure about Sheed to be fair just didn't have the room for the two mids.

After we just lost to Brisbane by 7 goals, id expect all of Brander, Petrucelle, Hickey and Waterman to be dropped.

Heeney and Dunkley were poor and Brander and Scrimshaw were disappointing. Lycett was just pathetic even though he was so good

Sam Walsh my only mid not to ton up with just Cogs remaining

So far my strategy of Picking the mid priced value has paid off. Boak, Kelly, Newman, Rockliff, Sheed have all been great.

1608 from 16 (inc captain) - Williams, Hanley, Ridley, Coniglio, Merrett, Billings. I think 2100 is a decent target, anything more I'll be stoked with.

Main disappointments were Grundy and making Brayshaw captain. Wouldn't have mind a bit more from Heeney or Witherden but will accept in round 1.

yep, midprice madness would've paid off big time, for Rd 1 at least. A lot of the popular mid price picks have done very well.

love that midfield...mine was similar with Taranto instead of Cogs but I wussed out last minute

Seems about right, then again it's farily hard to tell. I'm just hoping to be ranked within the top 15k or so for once after R1 and I'm looking at 2100 at least, I'd be stoked with top 5k as it's easy to make up spots if you keep clearing 2000 weekly.
