Let me guess you only followed the sport since last year and now you think Treloar and Elliot are stars lol, how many All Australian between them have they won?

Did you just do a shitter version of my own joke back at me? Great banter.

Both Treloar and Elliot are stars. Look no further than how much your lot sooked when Treloar chose us. Lol All Australians - they just handed 5 to a bloke who plays loose in defence.

Alex Rance would be Collingwood's best defender since the 30s since Jack Regan and Albert Collier played

I think Collingwood have the ability to kick a bigger score so I'm leaning towards them.
I don't see Lynch having much of an impact this week and Grundy has Nank's measure.
Pies could've been 8 goals up at halftime had they not made numerous uncharacteristic errors

Both fantastic players and i am glad you got the opportunity to see them play.
But back to the loss of Rance for the season,Keep in mind he is the General.
There is so many scenarios,
Highly possible a young Balta or Brathwaite,Moore or Markov will step up to the plate and perform well.
And the usual defenders go up a notch which i fully expect,Vlastin and Astbury and co to do.

And will they be able to do this for the entire season?

Or Hardwick and the assistant coaches will tinker with thing's.

We will get a clearer picture regarding the loss off Rance perhaps mid season and not in round two.

You're not kidding anyone saying there's no revenge. All of Richmond want this victory more than the norm, Especially against a rival, especially what they did to you in the Prelim. Revenge won't come in the magnitude that a knockout final or Premiership would bring, but it's still revenge in a smaller form.
Yep. Round 1 is often a weird blowing out of cobwebs. With this match, footy is well and truly back in town. Should be an intense ripper

He’d certainly be our best loose man in defense since Nick Maxwell and before that, Jason Cloke.

We were just calling a spade a spade. Out played Richmond in both regular season games last year before the injuries hit so we expected the same thing to happen in the prelim and lo and behold it did

As far as victim mentality goes I present the below
The only time you outplayed us was the prelim. Fair play and no arguments from me.
I see no reason to think we wouldn’t have put you away in the last quarter of the H&A games, regardless of whether or not you had injuries. Firstly, it was kind of a trend of ours. We did it it to Carlton, Melbourne, Collingwood x2, Fremantle, St Kilda, Geelong, Sydney and Adelaide. Secondly, I really think Collingwood lacked the ability to run out games. Last quarters were your worst. In each of your last 3 finals you allowed what should have been match winning leads get eroded, allowing the opposition back in, and in the QF while you never had a match winning lead, a 10pt lead became a 16pt deficit pretty quickly.

That’s probably about right. A win won’t make up entirely for the prelim, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited at the chance for a bit of redemption. The thought that our last game against Collingwood was an embarrassing debacle isn’t great. At least a win on Thursday will fix that bit.

Firstly, aren't your second and third points one in the same thing?

Holy crap - Pies & Tiges posters in this thread; some of you are looking really pathetic right now with the shit flinging. You realise most of you would probably get along right? I mean odds are you wouldn't be talking so much shit without the safety of the internet. It's shockin'. Have a smoke, a coke and a smile and shut the f*** up.

Is he a librarian?

p.s - I agree with you though.
Well that's phone posting for you
I was saying Cox kicks more goals per game than Caddy, keep up champ
Let's compare their most recent seasons Caddy 2.09 goals per game, Cox 1.04 goals per game, yes Cox sure does kick more goals :thumbsu:

Yes, I guess it’s two points on the same argument
It was our strength, and your weakness. I could have merged them. You got my point though?
I understand your perspective, but don't necessarily agree with it.

The only time Collingwood played Richmond in 2018 when we didn't lose multiple players to injury before half time, we pantsed you.

That's how I choose to look at it.

It’s not revenge when we weren’t the better team on the night. Playing for Pride

Rfc havent put a whole game together for a while and if they have another 1/4 or 2 off they will be very vulnerable. Pies by 81 points.
