Yeah but they hadnt even established a "beachead" yet.

In IW half the population is gone. That is more than next level.

How was he suppose to know it would happen? Maybe its a plot hole maybe it wont be, ultimately its not that important and you can go around in circles all day with this stuff if you want to.
Nope. Just can't have it. Having seen it now, there's no way in the world, with her powers that Fury wouldn't have called her earlier than this.

Who says he hasn't?
By the time she gets there the issue is resolved.

The final fights didn't last that long in any of those movies.

It's obvious it's not straight away that she shows up after the snap.

Nah, in the Avengers, earth was essentially lost to the Chitari until the Deus ex machina of the nuke that wasn't even fired by Fury.

It was. The battle lasted about 30 mins or so, not even a day.

No chance for her to get back if called.

Would prefer they not, then we might have dancing and people dropping weapons as better choreography choices.

Actually no, it wasn't.

Banner was in India, they otherwise went to what, Germany for a little to grab iridium, and given we had a couple origin films, we knew Russia had a program since Black Widow, we knew Hydra existed. That was the extent of the worldly view.

Portal plays and wormhole invasions were purely Stark Tower & Manhatton, so isolated, and being wormholes, potentially easily closed, especially so if we expect that since Strange released, there were also sanctums staffed at the time as well that were not required and Hank Pym was doing his thing off film as well with Goliath and Ghost not far behind for quantum realming given the ages. Again the worldly view was a UN saying "we be worried" which wouldn't be happening if they were apparently having random portals with invading forces bombing their shit.

The worldly impact wasn't until Ultron & Sokovia where the specific goal and attempt was to use that foreign nation to eradicate the world, and they pivoted that to identity with Civil War & Hydra, as opposed to climax which they saved for Infinity War & Thanos.

So with what was known at the time, in my view anyway, you can really only state with Ultron why the beeper was not used, and even then since it was Ultron and he's a techno thing, there's reason behind why it was not used as well.

Did lol, they cut to him in the first quarter, looked like he was explaining the game to a very perplexed looking Matt Damon.

Here he is after the game

On the actual movie. Fight scenes were pretty pox, with a million cut scenes, which are becoming standard fair in Marvel films these days.
Should take a lead from Rian Johnson. Minimal cuts and well choreographed.

Lol that's ****ing dreadfully choreographed, were you even paying attention?

Well, I guess that's the beauty of art. Everyone sees it differently. But the point stands that, from a directorial point of view it shits all over Marvel's shaky cam, death by a thousand cuts, CGI slop fest.
TBH, they're becoming a bit like Lost, the TV show. Less and less entertaining, but I'm so far in I need to see how it ends.
