Okay, I’ve been banging on about putting Jenkins into 1st ruck for 3 ******* years.

Can everyone just admit when he went into the midfield for more hen 2min he played his best footy of the game? and then kept playing substantially better afterwards?

He was actually really good in ground play up the ground

Mackay had some shaky moments today but got a couple of good goals..i thought he was good tonight. Chayce jones will learn from tonight. After his head knock he sprayed hus touches but he does get in there and gets involved. Knight was also pretty good and kicked some crunch goals

Absolutely. Jenkins actually clunked those bail out kicks we target at Sauce, that Sauce always drops. And he was okay in the ruck. Just shows how terrible Sauce is right now

I liked Jenkins in Ruck.

Yes he was poor at hitouts. But he is very mobile and generates run from a stoppage

Did you see the game after Sauce went off the ground? JJ was worst on ground before then, and looked like a completely different player afterwards

Good:

The four points, and another game under the belt. Slowly shaking the rust off. Hartigan actually played well. Tex and Jenkins played well. Brad Couch. Sloane.

Bad:

I think we had an armchair ride from the umpires, and Sydney were very ordinary. Really not convinced we'll win next week.

Ugly:

Keath was ordinary. Mackay played well meaning he's cemented his spot for another four years.

I thought keath competed really well

I stand by my comments re Tex in the second quarter.

His other three were great quarters.

When he attacks the ball things happen. Yes we lost contested possession in that second quarter. But he also played meek football. We still generated I50s. But he had no impact on any of them. The other three quarters he attacked the ball. That is the real Texan.


Controlling a game for most of it (sans second quarter) was also a great outcome. Great teams control games.

We got smashed all over the ground in the second quarter. I feel Tex is building now. Last week showed more than most of last year. This week better again and was influential. It’s finally a good trajectory that he’s on.
