Weitering- People always mention how big guys arms are in pre-season. But really it's about the thighs, legs. Look how more confident he is now he has a seasoned body. So much harder to move and he has always been in the right spots.

Is becoming what we wanted.

Fasolo did something at the end that we really need. A confident no nonsense snap at goal and no mistake. He will ice some goals we always miss. We need that bad. And he actually started to work into it in the last quarter coming from well back in fitness.

I genuinely believe he is best 22 and am asset, but only if fit and I’m not confident he is 100% fit yet

Phillips is a hard worker but against premier mobile ruckmen he gets absolutely trounced. Nankervis pantsed him last week and he’s not that good. Grundy and Gawn will gets 3 votes easily against Phillips
They won't if we win ..Crippa =3votes..

I dont want Murph to be the whipping boy...but my lord he chopped it today. Hurt us at key moments with little to no pressure on him.

Harry, excellent. Effort good.

Lapses and 2nd quarter, horrendous.
He made some shocking errors that were ten millimetres off perfect passes. But the thing is if the forwards put a bit more pressure on he wouldnt be left isolated on the wing with zero help. Time and time again.

In what way is he one of best players?
Is it his pace? His size? His strength over the ball? His disposal?
Mate, I’m not about potting players. Anyone who’s played one game of AFL footy has played one more game than I ever will.
But Murph is done. He adds no value to this side. None. I admire your loyalty, l have my favourites too. But Murph’s time is up.
250 games and former club captain. I'll wait a little longer than round 2 to write him off, but feel free to do so. I'm confident he still has a role to play in our best 22.

Correct. You can’t even argue for his leadership ability on field as he doesn’t have any. He’s as non vocal now as he was when he had the captaincy.

In a rebuilding year I’d almost rather give some young kids a go to see who has got it. Even JSOS would be better.

So I think these guys are locks: weiters, Jones, simmo, daisy, Cripps, Murph, dow, SPS, McGovern, McKay, C Curnow. But who joins them?

Folsom? Speaks volumes

We got spanked at Stoppages, Clearances, Inside50's, I guess that is Polson's too. You have only targetted one player in this lose, also speaks volumes

Ed 11 touches, Fasolo 9, Setterfiled 12, Garlett 13

You are embarrassing yourself
i havent read anything re your discussion with opine, but that was clearly a typo

Really our forward line is dysfunctional.

Clearly not fit....carrying some extra kilos...but that would be part of his preparation...put some on then take it off and keep the extra strength.

Lol. Again, I don't fully trust their ratings. Look at Lycett. Phillips. Was. Monstered.

Biggest difference between us and our opponents two weeks in a row has been the ruck. Last week nank kicked 3. This week Lycett is easily BOG and helped them to their ridiculous clearance domination. Screenshot_20190330_204412.jpg

Never felt more bullish about Weiters, SPS, and Harry. Impressed by Walsh’s persistence and composure (the delayed releases are exceptional for a second gamer), and I admired his preparedness to take risks when we were chasing the game in the 4th quarter, even if most of those risks didn’t quite pay off. Dow continues to grow imo, and I think that Gov is going to be a personal favourite of mine moving forward - he’s just such a natural footballer. Tbh, I’m not Plow’s most loyal supporter, but I thought that both he and Jones battled hard throughout, against quality opponents in challenging conditions. We obviously have a number of players who are drifting in and out of games - like Gibbons and Setters today imo - but with age and experience their consistency should improve.

I hate losing as much as the next Bluebagger, but imo there are grounds for genuine optimism, providing we understand where we actually are in our rebuild, as opposed to where we might have hoped to be this far in. There’s still a lot of work to be done on the game plan, as our second quarter today makes clear, but I believe that our incumbent coaching staff can manage that task in time.

Why does everybody want to focus individuals? It’s a team game ffs. There are plenty of less than satisfactory outcomes in a game of footy and you want to focus on a few guys.
So why vote for BnF? Why list the best players at all?

Celebrating the guys who played well and identifying the players who were subpar is all part of the debrief, surely.
