What a weird start to the year

Hawks board funnies:

There is no denying the umpires cheated today. CHEATED. FLAT OUT CHEATED.

Hawks were probably going to lose anyway running out of legs down two rotations and two veteran leaders, but the AFL ensured it with one sided goal gifting. Apparently the only team to push and punch in the chest was Hawthorn, yeah right. CHEATING CHEATING CHEATING umpires.

We ran out of puff. But that maggot down the dogs end deserves his testicles kicked up through his stomach

Blatant cheating by the chumpires.

That was corruption played before our eyes. I’m not kidding. That game has to be looked at with a fine tooth comb. Not just the last quarter, check the first. Atrocious stuff. That umpire has to be investigated.

Those 3 umpires for the whole day (Particularly the last quarter) who should be named, shamed and sacked.
They singlehandedly influenced the outcome of the game and should never umpire again.
Let's not forget the goal review of Breust's goal that the field umpire called touched despite the player not touching it, that resulted in a point.

But look over the whole game as just the most one sided umpiring I have EVER seen in following the game for over 45 years!

The umpires are clearly been instructed by the AFL to make sure the Dogs win no doubt as some of the decisions; just mind boggling.

There should be an AFL mandate now to all clubs that you are not allowed to touch an opponent or bump someone.

Sicily has every right to be frustrated like Impey, OMeara etc just picking free kicks without any fu..... basis at all.

The Sicily one was just blatant cheating as was just two players giving little pushes against each other so now if you are a backman the AFL must stand by those rules and say you are not allowed to touch your opponent at all.

The real game of Australian Rules Football is now gone.

The game of cheating by obviously influencing the umpires by the AFL is a fact and just disgraceful.

The AFL must be accountable for some of those mind boggling decisions by the umpires and if they were not instructed to be so biased against one side then those umpires should NEVER umpire again!

Carn mate. I love Butters as much as anyone but to say after two games that he’s “nearly Polec’s equal” is nuffworthy.

I'd take Duursma over Polec already. His 2 way running is exceptional and he is as courageous as they come.
