Not really the conditions for it
How many times does this need to be corrected? Hogan didn't play the last 5 weeks an McDonald starred. Plus Hogan didn't take the best defender, he worked up the ground and left Tmac deep.
Stop melting in every thread, it was pissing rain last night. Every key forward struggled
I'm reserving judgement on weid at this stage, with our game plan you'd have to be lockett, franklin and dunstall combined to make a decent go of it as a key forward.
He seems to keep working hard but is always out numbered and the kicks are most certainly not to our forwards advantage.
Melbourne by 100 points
Should be an easy Melbourne victory. Our issues run way deeper than Melbourne's. Melbourne are lacking in execution. Essendon are lacking in direction.
Melbourne should win. They have a big advantage in contested ball winning and that should translate into control of the game. Essendon doesn't have the defensive pressure to repel regular attacks so if Melbourne win the inside 50 count decisively I'd expect them to win easily (as opposed to what happened with Geelong).
If we play in the same manner of the past 2 weeks Melbourne will win by more than 6 goals. None of our minimal number of goals this year have come from any form of system. It’s all been extremely hard going, error-riddled, and uninspired (Stringer with a couple of inspiring moments perhaps). Never seen an Essendon side so underwhelming relative to expectation.
The Hype Cup. Melbourne by 5 goals at least
If Melbourne lose this, they may as well shut the club down.
Our next opponents are Melb, Bris, North, Coll, Cats, Swans (SCG), then Freo
we will be lucky to win 1 of those
And i can piss off to europe with us sitting 0-9 or 1-8
Dees are last on the ladder
hence, they win.

Melbourne with absolute ease

That would be Friday night in Round Five. Well, twilight.Terrible fixturing by the AFL, who is going to watch this rubbish from the two worst teams in the competition in prime time?
It’s honesty. Melbourne are a solid team pretending to be bad. They’ll come good. Essendon are not pretending. They’ll try for the first 10 minutes, then give up.Get ****** with your reverse Malachi shit, Essendon are definently favourites!

One of your quoted posts is yourself?!?!?
Stop with the reverse Malachi shit!
YesHmm that's from the Melbourne board... strange. Guess I should be suspended for that?
