Didn’t even realise that, impressive to equal it with still 7 matches to play.

I know some argue we haven’t improved (or perhaps even worse than last season), but I just can’t understand that point of view whatsoever. This is excellent progress.

Chugging along nicely at the moment. Who would have thought we would be sitting in 3rd at the start of the season.

It’s not all been peaches and cream this season but it’s going a lot better than some would have you believe.

Just need to keep going, can’t afford to get slack.

Sad to see Rambo go at seasons end, for all his faults he’s still Arsenal through and through.

Not sure where the £45m figure came from, but in today’s crazy market there’s little chance of buying Umtiti for that price.

He has a buyout clause for supposedly that amount Glen. Has been mooted for ages and hasn't signed a new deal to increase it (can't remove it - buyout clauses are mandatory for La Liga contracts). Any top 6 club in England would be all over him if he wants to leave.

Thanks for that context, wasn’t aware of his clause. Wow; someone of that quality for £45m in today’s market seems a bargain.

We certainly need a centre half from the top shelf however Arsenal remain a clear step down, if he does move on it would be unlikely.

Can see a weight has been lifted off Ramsay’s shoulders since announcing his departure.

He’s playing with a lot more freedom than he had before and seems quite determined to leave Arsenal on a high. Refreshing to see such a professional approach.

We’ll need to make a few sales before we stump up 45m for another player I think.

Worryingly there are reports Welbeck is in line for a new deal. No thanks.

10 straight home wins in the league, the worry for us is 5 of our last 7 are away and we'll probably need to win 3 of those to finish in the top 4.

Well need to make the English quota so wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why.

Well there you go. £45m was the old release clause, going to be hard for any club to sign him now.
That’s the release clause. Doesn’t mean they won’t accept 60 million or something if he wants to leave.

Should be looking at some English players for depth at other clubs - Callum Wilson, James Ward-Prowse. Don't know how they'd go at a bigger club or how much they'd be, but there is some decent English talent.

Maddison another.

No thanks. For what they would be (depth players) they would cost far too much given the English tax that be attached to their transfer fee. Both players would cost 30m plus dependant on their current contract status. Could get better players for cheaper from other leagues.

Maddison on other hand would be a future starter if he were to come here and the cost associated would be worth it.

Let's not get our hopes up re Fraser.

Bournemouth don't want to lose him and even going in to the final year of his contract they'll probably still demand a king's ransom (which is their right).

Big match tonight, an away game to kick off a mostly away run home.

Given our horrible away record this season we really need to get 3 points tonight and build momentum, as I can see us dropping points to Wolves and Watford if we don’t sort ourselves out.

Torreira suspended and Xhaka still in doubt. Likely the same midfield as against Newcastle.

I read today Ramsey has 6 goals and 3 assists in his last 5 games against Everton, impressive numbers.
