The issue, and its a very important one for many of us, is that he has gone from being a #2 mid behind fyfe, to a #1 mid who will attract more attention the better he is going.
Same question Sloane faced.
Same issue we saw in Zorko.
Same issue we see in many others over a long long time.

Neale is now due for that attention.

Not all guys cope well with it.

We dont need to hear how good they are when they are scoring 140's early. We know how good they are. But there are 20 more rounds to go and Neale will now get more attention than ever.

I want to know (from best guesses) if i might be buying another Sloane.

Neale had a career season playing as the #1mid without Fyfe.

Wow man that's pretty insane but you are clearly sitting in the better position atm with Neale and Steele outperforming Treloar and Zorko in addition to the extra trades you have.

Trade 1 - Heeney > Boak
Trade 2 - Greene > Worpel

Not convinced on trading out Heeney yet, but it’s a necessary evil to do Greene to Worpel.

I think Heeney is a while away from coming right and if he does I am happy to eat some humble pie and get him back.

With Greene, really bad early signs with his body that turned me into a non-believer of him being a top 10 fwd this year. Worpel on the other hand could be.

2016, he averaged a career high 113 point per game.

I dont think you have to worry about Neale getting tagged with Zorko still in the team. It wasnt just Fyfe that stopped Neale from getting tagged. I think other coaches view him as an accumulator a little compare to someone like Zorko who will cut you up with goals etc if you let him free.

Neale is a 600k+ premo, not because he posts huge scores, but because of his consistency.

& throw away the key.

Is liba a must have and worth it over some value rookies or is getting in a LDU or Cousins more important?

If it were my team I'd be punting that spud Billings for T. Kelly. Team looks good otherwise. You've got enough of the good rookies. Leaves enough cash for Atkins > LDU if u really want.

Carlton this week to, could kick a few and notch up the ton.

Don’t know why silly horse plays him forward. Midfield pressure and run is what scores goals not big / electric forwards anymore. When your team has run and carry then they’ll kick a lot of goals. Leaving Henry up forward when swans midfield is getting dominated is just a waste of key talent. He has more chance of kicking goals as a mid, not key forward

This is a pretty "obvious" (and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way at all) way of thinking...
... But Carlton kept Richmond to 9.9 after Q1, and a pretty fluent Port to 23 shots in Adelaide last week.

What's there to say a team who have scored 65 and 62 will do any better??

Sure, he might kick a couple. He might kick 3 or 4...but there's nothing to suggest to me that he's any more likely this week than the previous two.

Fwiw, I have him, but won't by Thursday.

If Billdick can't even hit 90 VS GC Suns or the rabble that is the Bombers then who will he. Even when he played really well in JLT he only got 85. Not SC relevant. A spud.

Have $200k in the bank, with either Burgess/Balta/Hore becoming victim to netting the one missing rookie puzzle piece in Parker. Mind you, I swapped out Parker for Balta moments before Round 1. Insert Facepalm.gif

With my other trade I’m of the train of thought that Heeney won’t come good continuing to play through an injury, so will drop in price and terrible scores will continue. As such, am looking at going either...

Leaning towards the former, as he was one I was hoping to originally squeeze in my team given he is back to playing genuine midfield minutes. Plus, it will give me $250k+ in my bank for my first upgrade. But you can’t deny Daniel’s form... just not sure I can trust Bev’s constant role changes across the Dogs team.
