Not really any realistic targets i don't think.

We need a mature gun in the 22-26 year old bracket...we don't need more talented kids with potential...we have enough of those.
Crows don't really have any players that fit this criteria who play a position we need.

Meh, we said the same things about Gibbs for years and years. He was a good mid prior to trading him because for a brief period we made him the focus of our midfield. When he's not the focus and number one or number two man in the midfield he should be playing half back. He's down the pecking order in their midfield and he doesn't contribute in that role, never has.

Yeah I considered him I just don't put him in the realistic category since he's from SA and unlikely to move.

Watching Tex Walker in action tonight, it got me thinking that he is not so much a leader, but more of a supervisor wandering around the forward line, keeping an eye on things, without do any of the hands on stuff.

With Betts I believe there is a couple of aspects to his disappointing form. He is in the twilight years of his career & his best form is behind him, but I think the loss of Charlie Cameron has made his job harder. Looking through his career stats, he played his best footy at Carlton when Jeffy was also running around in the forward line & the same can be said for his time at the Crows while Cameron was sharing the forward line with him.
