Personally I hope he plays the majority of the time in the middle and rests forward. Our midfield depth is very poor and the more class we can add to it the better off we will be.

Impey just doesn't get enough of the ball to play there IMO.

But I agree that with limited training Wingard is likely going to struggle with fitness.

No coincidence that Breust gets off the chain today, once Wingard got dangerous it looked formidable. Something special brewing here with those two. wait till we get a permanent key forward in there with them, competing and bringing balls to ground.

Great to see the Chad and Scully do what they did today, well before we all thought they'd be running around for us.

Scully went to another level. Chad showed signs that he's going to bring what he did for Port during his best.

Fair enough man. Could definitely be JOM or Mitch but there was just something that struck me about Wingard exploding when we needed to find something and his going up and getting right in the face of Hawks fans to fire them up.

There’s just something about Wingard for me that is a 1% talent.

Only complaint for me about him today is it’s a whole bloody week till we see him play again.

He obviously still has calf problems you only had to look at the way he ran or chased when he had to stride out he had a noticeable limp, however if you can manage it and slowly get him right, then if we get those type of performances with them then he plays with bad calves.
