Bombers kicking inside 50 has been horrific

All one way running at the moment. Downhill skiing is out of control.

Shiel has gotten nearly every one of his touches goal side of his opponent.

Every time the Bombers get the ball and go forward there are waves of them running without opponents, and with loose men everywhere inside 50.

At nearly every contest the Melbourne players all get sucked into the contest leaving them exposed on the outside.

Yet Melbourne still on a roll with the ball and going forward at the moment, but their issues in defence are still glaring. They're oozing talent and should be a mile ahead but their gameplan and their defensive workrate is friggin horrible.



TLDR:

Essendon's issues are talent based.
Melbourne's are all game plan and defensive work rate based.
