We have had a horror draw with three day day breaks in a month, a first round in Brisbane and a "home" game against Fremantle. The second 6 day break in succession against Port clearly affected us and the VaFL have another planned for the Suns return match.

I think playing in cold, wet weather as reigning premiers suffering a lil bit of a hangover did us in last week. Plus Port shut down our uncontested game.

Ablett plays well once every 3rd game, so I wouldn't worry about him.
That leaves Hutchings to convince TKelly to come to the eagles so he doesn't get tagged by the best in the game.

I had a bad feeling about last week and have a better one going into this game, which means absolutely nothing.

But I will say that numbers and streaks don't mean a whole lot. Last week every historical statistic was in our favour. Our streak with Darling/Kennedy in the side, our record against Port - it meant nothing.

It's a weird and wonderful year. So why not reset our record in Geelong?

Can't see us getting the 4 pts down there, especially when GWS beat them their last time. They won't want to lose another one at home.
Yeo missing most of preseason is showing, he's not the same. Our midfield is well down on last year.

I went to the last game we played down there. Hard place to watch footy as an opposition supporter, plenty of flogs.
